I used two of them to create a frame for a manpack radio setup. I used a QYT8900D and the holes line up perfectly. Im hoping to use more for frames in the future on more radios and for a solution to mount in my vehicle. Highly recommend. Heavy duty metal as well at a good price.

I recently acquired a Yeasu FT-1500M shortwave transceiver and needed a way to mount it. This universal bracket will work well. It's large assortment of holes allows it to be used with all sorts of radios, fishfinders, and gps units. However, I'm knocking off two stars because the seller's pictures show it with a 1" ball mount, it doesn't actually come with one. You have to purchase that separately. ... show more
