The phone doesn't drop and it's sturdy I use the sticky pad it came with. I didn't use the suction part cause in the summers from previous phone holders it pops off.

I've only used the vent mount, and not the telescoping dashboard mount. The vent mount serves its purpose as intended, but it is very cumbersome to tighten down the nut on the back side to the mount that connects to your vent. No matter how hard you screw down the nut to lock the mount in place, the device still slides forward away from the event fins that it pinches. Once I buy a new vehicle soon I will install the sticky dashboard mount and update this review pertaining to that. Overall a decent value for the price. ... show more

For the price, this is a great mount with options to figure out what works. The suction was what I preferred, the suction disc has the right parts, but feels like the chinese knock off with non-3m branded VHB stick, so works great new, will have to see in a year. For the price maybe just fine. Compared to another model has more knobs to adjust to get the right setting, other models have same level of adjustability with fewer knobs. I am very happy with this car phone holder; I attach it in the car vent, not the suction. It does not move around or become loose while attached to the vent. I purchased the Lusosh Universal Car Phone Holder Mount to give me access to my phone hands-free while driving and it did not fail me. The suction cup system is so strong that the holder doesn't even move when going over big bumps. The safety sticky connector holds tight and doesn't damage my car dash. The grip of the phone holder section supports and cradles my 6.5 inch phone with super grip tightness so I feel comfortable about the safety of my phone not falling while driving.
