I’m not one to normally write reviews. But this one is rough. First, massive battery drain. But others have reported that. Not uncommon with high memory units. Can look past it. But fundamentally it just doesn’t work. It changes inputs on its own can’t have it on Bluetooth for more than 10 min before it randomly switches to radio mode etc. Radio reception is nearly non existent. Reached out to support twice. Just purchased a 2011 WRX and wanted carplay, This was one of the cheaper options then the Idoing unit everyone runs and with the coupon I only paid 125. First off This was one of the easiest things I've ever installed in my life, Some of the other reviews said the connector was wrong, but the pin inside the radio harness that was supplied with the unit looked bent a little so I straightened with some needle nose and it slid in. The lock for the tab goes inside which was a little strange & not how you think it would go. After install I couldn't get the radio to work, it since has started to work but the reception is spotty at best. I will say the output of this radio far exceeds the output of the factory unit my speakers seam louder then before. Next you have to connect to Bluetooth via the app not how most android units do it through settings which i found odd. Once connected the wireless Carplay with Zlink worked PEREFECT! one thing I didnt like is you cant move that app to the main screen or even move it to the 1st page of the apps. again annoying but I can live with it. The screen So far is nice , I have not found any dead spots & flicks and presses work 1st try. Its nice and bright with a good quality picture. Steering wheel controls are easily set up from a sub menu. If you are only using this for Apple carplay and dont mind clicking a couple couple buttons to get it going an waiting the 20-30 seconds to wireless connect, Pull the trigger you'll like it. If you listen to the radio alot or want everything to work perfect out the box with no issues maybe and dont want to mess around with anything spend more money and go with something else. ... show more

Bought this for CarPlay and it works but it lags horribly. If you skip a song it will be about two seconds before it starts the next song. When you use navigation it cuts the volume down for about 3 times as long as it should when the voice talks. The equalizer is TERRIBLE. The EQ presets are no good but the hifi setting is usable. You have to turn the volume 3/4 of the way up to get to normal volume. There’s no knob and the volume buttons are small. The included camera is crooked or something, the camera itself is mounted straight so I’m not sure what the deal is but it makes you think your backing on at an angle and your not. There a TON of junk on the system you don’t need if you just want CarPlay. I will say it was super easy to install. No wiring needed just remove old radio and surround piece and install this one and plug it in. Super easy. Remember, you get what you pay for and a similar radio would be 4x the price at best buy so expect some drawbacks. ... show more

Was surprised that wireless android auto works so seamlessly. It is very responsive and the feature set and audio quality is WOW! The reason I didn't want to give 5 stars, was because in my RHD wrx sti the headunit is angled away from me making the screen hard to view at night. Had it not been for that I would say best bang for buck with all modern features an DSP level audio quality through my OEM speakers. Sounds amazing. ... show more

After playing with the headunit I can’t install any apps because the headunit is on android 9… description says android 11. I can’t even upgrade the Os.. need some suggestion or help from the manufacture or I will be returning it because it’s pointless if I can’t run the app for my car gauges.
