The battery only lasts for an hour and that hour goes by really fast when your kid is having this much fun! Also, the hover board beeps a lot and the instructions aren’t very clear as to why it would beep. Calibrating is kind of difficult too.

I don't know how they measure horsepower for electric hoover scoots and such but on a scale of 1-10, I would rate this at about 7 horseys. Fast outta the gate and I mean fast. We had to give the green one a head start to make the race even down the stretch. It pulled in the midrange pretty good and was hard to get it to top out mainly because we ran outta room. We had a 20th of a mile course set up with some pretty sharp corners. If we had banked corners we could have kept her on the rev limiter and found out what she had on top. My buddy Long haired rick likes to ride on the rev limiter all the time but he is kind of a douche. Overall, I think go fur it! ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Got this for my daughter for Christmas. It’s my own fault for not checking, but the charger was missing from the box when she opened it. It has a little bit of a charge to test it out. Seems to work great. Borrowed my nephews charger and it works, so I’ll just order a generic replacement from amazon. Since this is a third party company, amazon couldn’t just send me a charger. I could not find any contact info for the company to contact them directly to ask for a charger. I don’t want to return the hoverboard and order a new one (which was what amazon suggested) since it’s otherwise great. Plus they are out of the yellow graffiti model and wouldn’t be able to get the same one. Just a heads up. Learn from my mistake. Check the box for all pieces/parts if it’s a gift. I can’t speak for battery life since she just got it. Speakers and lights work great. Paired to her phone easily. Seriously impressed minus the missing charger. Would have been 5 stars if it had come with it or if I could have contacted the company directly to get one. ... show more

My son has had a lot of fun on this since he got it about a month ago, but his biggest complaint is the charge time. I understand that things take time, but he says that his takes longer than his friends. I've also heard that people have seen them catch fire if left charging for too long...so I am a little paranoid to let him leave it charging for too long. Got this for our 13 yr old son. It's a pretty awesome hoverboard, and he loves it! The lights change color constantly and look really cool when he's riding around. I would guess it lasts about 2 hours of use before he needs to recharge it again. Pretty much the whole household has gotten on it and rode, with the heaviest being about 190 lbs. It does great outside or in, carpet, tile, pavement and grass if it's not too soft. It does not feel cheap at all. I think this is the best deal for the quality on a hoverboard. The grafitti print style is the one we chose so his didn't look like others in the neighborhood. Glad we did because it looks really cool and different. ... show more

Hoverboard works great. Daughter loves it. The only issue is that the charging port is tough to plug in for me as an adult which makes it almost impossible for the 8 year old but she eventually gets it plugged in. Also the range on the Bluetooth isn’t very far but we just don’t use that option. All together great product and would give 5 stars if children could plug it in without needing help.
