I brought two different ones returning one as it is very heavy. This one is light and comes all put together. The remote will need two AAA batteries which does not come with it. I carry it a long ways from where they drop it. My wife asked if it was really in there. How light it is. You can use extension cord if you find cord too short. I use solar boxes so no problem for me. It uses to start 9 watts and at top speed it uses 22 watts. So could be used on the road or at home.

I love this item and easy to use remote control to operate the product. All you have to do is plug it into the electrical socket, turn on the power, use the remote to different settings, sit back and exercise with ease. I burned 76 calories on my first try out and my wife enjoyed using it too.

I'm 73 and have bought many indoor exercise equipments. This is so convenient, can do it anytime in air conditioning. I live in central Texas with 100F and very high humility. Well made, sturdy. I use it every day for an hour for the week I've had it..my balance is better and overall my old arthritic body feels better and a little more energetic. Highly recommend.

I ordered this, assuming it would be just like an elliptical, but for sitting. But in reality it’s not quite like that. As others mentioned, the machine moves on its own. So you don’t have the resistance that normally comes with a standard elliptical, where you are the one doing the movement. Rather, this machine does all the work. Your feet simply rest on the pedals and are moved by those pedals. Since there isn’t really any resistance, it’s not much of a workout in the classic sense. That said, I find it very useful for other situations. For example, it’s extremely useful and beneficial for those who are on modified bed rest, or those who find difficulty with traditional exercise. This machine provides body movement and blood circulation without any exertion. I also find this very helpful for those who struggle with prolonged sitting, such as during work. This keeps the legs moving and provides stimulation in a very simple and discreet manner. Though I wouldn’t call this machine silent, especially when on a higher speed, it is still pretty quiet. Yes, it is heavy to carry, but the carrying handle makes it fairly easy to do so. And the best part? It comes fully assembled. It is ready to use as soon as it is delivered!

I love this so much and I'm so glad I got it. This machine is great for me because I can sit and use it. I can use low tension and fast pedaling to get my heart rate up and get an aerobic burn, or use higher tension and a regular pace to work my muscles harder. Definitely get this one to easily get your heart rate up and shed a few pounds.

I'm not going to say too much about the weight of this GUMWIG Under Desk Elliptical. It's probably not cheaply made for that kind of weight. They also built in a grab handle to move it if you need to. For seniors who may use it & then try to put it out of the way, it may present an added workout for their arms or not be practical to do on a regular bases. Enough said on that. Love that it has a remote. That's a positive game changer for not having to be bending over, or leaning under a desk to set and or change the functions for speed, direction (forward or backwards),etc. They enclose a mini manual for using it.They have 3 Auto Exercise modes & then Manual Exercise mode where you...using the remote...can set your own speed (there are 5) & switch direction at random. I mostly use this mode so I can manage the time I can take. Since, in my job, I sit alot this keeps my circulation moving. I do wish it had straps to hold my feet in place like my exercise bike. When the direction changes your feet can loose its placement or grip. and, as it's still moving you're trying to get them back in position. The machine is quiet & moves fairly smoothly. By the way...there's a holder for your remote right on the machine. Great idea. All in all I can see a selective use for this, but can't recommend it for everyone. You will have to decide!
