    • So many good features, and one fatal one
I wanted to be able to use a remote to control six under-cabinet lights, and I was seduced by the tuck-behind-the-front-edge design of these (why is this so rare?), the color temperature choices, and the remote. The magnets worked just fine for me, but the battery life? We can't get through one evening of having people over for dinner, and we're not night owls. They lose all their programming when their batteries die, too, which means you have to re-pair them with the remote every single time you charge them. Which, as I've explained, is every single day. The tiny button you have to hold down for re-pairing is extremely painful, considering how hard you have to press it and how long you have to hold it. And one of those buttons fell out, so I have to use an ice pick to charge that one. Yikes. When they're all charged and re-paired with the remote, it's really nice. But 2 or 3 hours of use later, the problems with these lights return. I wish I could take these same fixtures and just daisy-chain hard-wire them to an outlet and get the light quality and control I want, every day. *sigh* I know, First World problems... ... show more

The lights are great well made easy to charge easy to sync to one remote if you buy more than one kit. The brackets are well designed however the adhesive on them sucks. You really have to clean the area you're going to stick to before you use them, and even that's no guarantee that they will stick. I would suggest buying 3M VHB tape and replace the sticky tape they use. The product I used was this OAPRIRE 3M Double Sided Adhesive... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B083HZBKKY?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share. If you lay the bracket on top of these patches and then tilt the bracket to cover both sides of the bracket with tape you'll only have to make one cut. And it works. ... show more

I bought the 60 cm and am impressed with the white light output. The reason I rated only 2 stars is because of the battery life and time required to recharge. If you need these for under cabinet lighting and want them for continuous use, these aren’t for you. Under continuous use, they only last about 5 hours and may start to dim or go off altogether and it takes about that long to recharge them. I’ll have to repurpose them somewhere because they are nice. ... show more

    • Lights Work - But Turn On Mysteriously

We have two of these lights for a wall bed. I’ll charge them, reinstall on wall and come back days later to find one of them on. Something is turning one or both on, so either they are defective or are easily turned on by an outside signal. As such I cannot recommend them. Perhaps the seller has a solution?! Update: We understand there is a switch on each light bar, and what the switch does. The lights are in the “use the remote” mode, not the “motion detector “ mode. One of the two will turn on by itself. I believe something is wrong wit one or both. ... show more

This light is very bright if you choose the top setting and has plenty of option in between. Being able to change the color of the light is a great option to have. Charger is split so you can charge both at once making it easy to charge. Remote is nice to have so you can turn both on at once.
