You can easily stick them anywhere if you have metal door frames, but they metal sticky patches they include work well otherwise. Both lights are set to night mode, automatically turning on when someone passes by in the dark. It's very convenient. These are very easy to mount and use. They have multiple color temperature and brightness settings so they are vert versatile. USB-C charging is nice and convenient. The light is magnetic, so you can put it on any metal surface. If not, then you can mount the small metal plates using adhesive to stick the light to. The light is easily unmounted for charging. Motion detection works well and can be set to turn on only when it's dark, or whenever there is motion, regardless of the ambient light level. I like the latter setting because it's not always totally dark in the spaces I use it, but I still want the extra light. Very versatile and easy to use. ... show more

We bought similar lights like these for our closets about 4 years ago. They worked really well for us but now have gotten old so we have to charge them way too often. We decided to try these lights out as they have the same features as our old ones BUT they also have 3 different color temps. This is important as some of our closets need white light where as others have a lot of sunlight exposure so warmer lights are better. This gives us the flexiibility of being able to pick.     • Nice soft light
I used one of these to replace the LED puck in the entrance to the bathroom off of our bedroom. The former light worked well enough, but I was recharging the AAA batteries every couple of weeks, and the lights only could come on full brightness, which was harsh late at night and, well, unfriendly if you know what I mean... This unit is a definite upgrade. I could set the color to warm, the intensity to where there is enough light to see to navigate. Coming on at lower intensity is less glaring. It has been up for a couple of weeks and I haven't had to re-charge it yet. These are the third version of similar LED strip lights I've gotten recently. Aren't the fanciest, but they are quite likely the best value. The first ones I got I really like, but they are smaller and limited to On/Off/Auto with no control for intensity or color. The second type is larger (in master BR closet) and fancier - it has multiple buttons for controls and is brightens gradually, but was much more expensive. These have the similar functions, just simpler, and it stays on a few seconds longer. The second one I've put over the corner of my office desk for occasional night time illumination when I wander in. Happy! ... show more

I put these up in my lawn shed and they are great! I simply stuck them to the metal walls. I connected them both to 6w solar panel made for a cameras and it keeps them charged up. Now I have automatic light anytime I open the doors up. The two lights are plenty bright for my 6' x ' 6' shed. The color temp settings are nice and the lights are very bright for their size. These would also work great for emergency lighting as they have their own batteries and come on with the motion sensor. ... show more

    • Nice low profile lights for under cabinets or in smaller pantries
These lights are about 9-10" long, about 2" wide, and have magnetic "stickers" that you can affix to the underside of a cabinet or a pantry. I'm using them in a workbench that doesn't have any lighting - they seem to do a good job.
