Revised review: Customer service was very good and offered a replacement. The new items are working well as expected. Raising the ratings to 5 stars based on customer service and product performance. Original review: Installed one of the items on the front driveway in Mode 1 (turns on for 20 or 30 secs on motion detection). It worked well as expected for 4 days. On the 5th day, outdoor temp rose upto 98F and that night the light did not work. Waited 2 nights and the light remained dead. Uninstalled the light, took it indoor, moved the mode switch to ensure that it there is no issue, and it was working. Reinstalled the light outdoor (7hrs of sunlight), and this time, the motion detection was back to normal but the light was very dim, as if it were not enough charge in the light. I am going to check how the light performs for other two nights, and if it does not perform well, will return the items. Honestly, the first 4 days when it was working well, we loved it. I am hoping there is a way to contact the seller and get this replaced, as this may be a defective item. ... show more

I live in a rural area with no street lights. I put these out so the wife can walk on the half acre and have light to see what is out there in the dark. They are very bright and have presented no problems. Mounting is easy enough and weather has not been an issue after 2 months and winter setting in. As she walks along the path they light up at a comfortable distance and stay on long enough to get well past the lighted area before they go out. I recommend these. I had the job buy a couple and the manager went with a different light, I was disappointed in the style of mount and the brightness. Also these have two motion detectors and the lights and solar panels were more adjustable for angle and placement then the other brand. I highly recommend these lights. ... show more

I have bought several sets of these lights as well as lights from different companies. These are the most disappointing. Most of them stopped working as soon as the return window closed. They come in sets and they are Very hit and miss. I only got one good light out of two in the package om a few occasions. Then it's a hassle to take them down and pack them up to return them. I basically ended up wasting a good $30+. DANG IT. I was so impressed when I first got them and they worked for those first few nights that I kept ordering more. I wish I hadn't. Now I have a good $100+ of WASTED MONEY and nonworking lights. The design is flawed no matter the manufacturer. I really urge against purchasing any lights with a similar design. They take on water and stop working. They need several hours of direct light to work all night. The design is also not as easy to hang up compared to others. I had to pull out a drill and use screws to mount these lights vs tapping a couples of nails into my wooden post. All and all I suggest that you stay away from these lights and DO NOT PURCHASE. ... show more

Both units did not work. Mode 1 should be ON full bright when motion is detected, then OFF several seconds after motion stops. Well, the bright light would come on, but only for less than one second. Mode 2 worked - the light is always on, but dim. Mode 3 should be always dim, then bright when motion is detected. Like Mode 1, the bright light would only stay on for less than one second. I really wanted these lights to work, but I need Mode 1. EDIT: I'm ordering another pair to see if they work. I'll update my review accordingly. EDIT: I received another pair of lights and they are working as expected. No more blinking bright lights in motion detection mode. They are very bright and the motion detection seems good. I haven't mounted the lights outdoors yet - I only tested them in the basement. If there's anything noteworthy after I do, I will update this review. Bumping to 4 stars. ... show more

Got these lights and they were wonderful. Could not be more happy with the purchase. The were bright easy to install and adjustable to any area of my yard. Had one at the front door and came on when motion was detected which came on several times every night. The other one was in the back yard and didn't go off unless a animal triggered it. They both stopped working at the same time after four months. I don't understand why they both stopped working at the same time when one had more activity than the other. The product would have 5 stars all day if it lasted more than 4 months. I would like to have them again but not if they don't last. Would be nice to get the two I bought replaced and an answer as to if they are only required last for 4 months. I have had other solar lights last for 2 years. ... show more

This is a great pair of solar outdoor lights. Installation was easy because you first attach a small mounting bracket to your surface and then just slide the lights and solar panel onto the bracket. That is much better than trying to attach the entire light to a surface. The lights work really well. I have them set up to only turn on with motion and they do a marvelous job of lighting up the driveway whenever any movement is detected. I am very pleased with these lights! UPDATE: Bought 2 of these in August, 2023, and one stopped working in January, 2024, because water leaked in from the top side. You can see the collected water at the bottom of the middle light section. At least one still works, but I lowered my rating from 5 to 3 stars. ... show more

I'm ordering my third set. For the price they are the best value for the money. Super bright at night. Love that it's solar and full charge lasts a long time. I keep mine on the motion mode. I use them to light my gardens. For me to water late at night as it gets dark at 8 o'clock and I'm not done gardening. Also keeps the raiding critters out when lights are on motion detection mode.
