The first thing I need to say is that I'm using this belt for pain in my lower stomach/intestines (not an umbilical hernia). I've had an issue in that area for a few years, and I discovered that if I wrap a wide, flexible band tightly around the area, it provides a lot of support in front, and the pain is considerably abated. This belt is perfect for my issue, in all aspects. It attaches around your waist with velcro in the front, and once that's fastened, there are wide elastic arms on each side that also attach with velcro on top of the base, so you can adjust it to as tight a fit as you want. The velcro holds firm, so you don't have to constantly readjust it. And the design (velcro around the main part to ) The elastic overall is tight enough to hug you exactly the way you need, and loose enough to let you breathe without constraint.

I ordered this because the belly support bands for post-cesarean surgery don’t come in large enough sizes. This one does fit true to size, plus is very adjustable for comfort! I plan to wear over a light shirt, under a jacket, because it isn’t attractive, but it definitely will offer core support and help keep the incision supported.

This support is actually really high quality. Most don't have any structure to them but the structural supports in this are very strong. I love that this has a main velcro area across the abdomen along with additional elastic/velcro to further secure it. It is comfortable to move around and breath in ( NOT A WAIST TRAINER ) and it's a good reminder for me to bend with my knees and not my back. Even as a reminder this was totally worth it but it does provide much needed relief as well. Very happy with this one. 10/10 on quality and support. I might update this later on if it does fall apart after months of use ( some older models from a different brand didn't have the extra support and they end up getting stretched out or warped. )

It is short, as in not tall; it does not extend from hip bones to lower chest, it's about hip bones to just above the belly button. This is fine if that's the only space you need to bind, and I have times where I need to better bind the lower part of my abdomen. It won't be my go-to, because it doesn't cover enough to be what the surgeon wants me to wear, but it will definitely come in handy. It's very firm, rigid. That is to say it's not very elasticy. The velcro is very very strong, at first, stronger than I am. I need to wear something underneath it, because it does leave me a little itchy; not hives and swollen red ugliness, just itchy. There are also a couple spots that scrape a little. This is easily remedied by wearing a tube of fabric I made from an old shirt under it.

i got this belt to play full court basketball. it provides very good back support for me and yet it allows me to be agile enough on the court without sacrificing anything. the velcros are sturdy and sufficient to tighten this as much or as little as you want. the four inserts in the back provides the sturdiness that my back needs for support.

I put this on as soon as I received it and have been wearing it the past few days. What I love is that it is comfortable and provides nice support around the lower part of the stomach area. It is also a little tall which I prefer and the material doesn't hurt my skin. I will have to wait for a few more weeks of wearing this belt to see if it starts to get out of shape and bunch up but so far so good.

Not bad, but not my favorite. I have a number of braces around the house and for use at work. This one is not as nice as some of my 'fancier' ones but it does the job. I found it's supportive and I can adjust the compression easily. However, it's not as 'long' as my others it doesn't go from hip to under the chest, it's a shorter belt. It's okay, but for my torso I would prefer a bit longer in either direction. I did like the mesh, even though I don't wear these against skin I like the breathability component to them. Nice overall, but a bit too short for my preferences.
