UPDATE: It has been a month since I started to use this walking pad. I absolutely love it. I have tried other treadmills and walking pads in the past, but nothing has been as stable, convenient, sleek, and easy to move as the UMAY walking pad. I have walked just about 45 minutes everyday, and it works great. Others reviews made me cautious about new or loud noises, but nothing had changed at all! I have had to realign the belt due to using the machine long enough to break it in, but is super easy to do and takes less than five minutes. I also really enjoyed the excellent customer support. They have fast response times and are always more than happy to help and will even send you videos for better clarity. For the price and convenience, as well as style and quality, pushing in a few loose wires once has been completely worth it. I recommend this walking pad! ————— I was excited to receive this walking pad, but it unfortunately did not work when it arrived. Like most people, I thought it was the remote, because the red light on the power switch came on when plugged in. However, using your phones camera you can actually test if the remote works. Before I knew this I did buy a new watch battery (cr2025) from walmart for less than $6. I reached out to you-may directly on Amazon. They were the ones who told me about the remote and phone camera trick. After reading thousands of reviews and such on Amazon, tiktok, Google, etc., I finally just decided to take the top off of the treadmill itself (it’s three regular screws, plus the two top stoppers) and I pushed in every single wire I saw. There were three wires that moved then I did this. I assume it was one of them that weren’t connected well. Once together again, it completely worked and I wish I recorded my reaction because I actually just laughed. Tips for the other people who also have had this issue, too: - plug the walking pad into a working outlet -turn the switch on the base of the walking pad on, making sure that it glows red. **AT THIS POINT the display should read “REST” if not, you most likely have the same issue I experienced. -point the remote at the sensor on the display area, directly below the UMay logo. -before taking the treadmill apart, check that the remote works by using your phone camera and pressing any button while looking at the sensor, there should be a red light that blinks (it’s quite faint) - if you need a replacement battery, they’re sold at Walmart. It’s a CR2025 watch battery. -if taking the top of the walking pad off, be sure to turn it off, and unplug it. -be careful when messing with the wires, do not pull on the ribbon that is attached from the top panel to the inside main area. Now that it works, I love it. It’s super quite, and I’ve walked just over 3 miles on all the speed settings. Here’s to y’all fixing it yourselves because no one wants to return this heavy thing!

First let me tell you that I love this treadmill. I have had it for 16 months and use it 4 days a week, 6-10 miles a day under my standing desk. At 3 miles an hour, I am able to talk on the phone and type while walking. No one on the other end of my phone calls has ever told me that they can hear the treadmill (I think my feet hitting the treadmill is louder than the treadmill itself). I agree with everyone's comments that the three loud beeps are annoying, but I just start the treadmill before my conferences. Now to the remote control. You must have the remote control to start the treadmill, which I think is a problematic. However, if you lose the remote or it breaks there are two solutions. First - you can enroll in the app Spax which allows you to control the treadmill via bluetooth - it was very very easy to connect and fun to use - however, it costs $20 a month or $100 a year after a 7 day free trial. Second - you can contact customer service. I contacted [email protected] (which address is on the back of the instruction manual) and told them the problem with my remote. After quick troubleshooting with the remote, we determined it was no longer operational. They sent me a new one at no cost (although I would have been willing to pay) within 10 days via Fed Ex. I only wish that they would provide replacement remotes on Amazon for those of us that have lost or broken the remotes so that we don't have to go through customer service. My rep was very kind and forgave my frustration. In summary, the treadmill is great, it is quiet and I have had no problems with it. I really appreciated the prompt and responsive customer service that I received. I would certainly recommend this treadmill to others.

I was able to set it up by myself, there isn't assembly except to just plug it in. I plan on using this while working from home, and it works fine but I will likely have it off during meetings in case it can be heard through zoom. The display changes between the time on it, total distance, and calories burned, but I don't know how it determines the caloric number but really cool that it provides it. The remote come with a battery in it already which is convenient. I am walking on the treadmill as I am typing this review lol. I recommend slowing it down as much as possible or completely stopping it/turning it off before you step off so you don't slip. I like that it has two wheels on the front so I can lift it and store it under my bed. Overall Its everything I wanted for a treadmill that I can do during work. I love how compact it is.

I love this treadmill. It works great and the set up couldn't be easier. The only bad thing is that the remote stopped working after less than a week! Very frustrating. I tried replacing the batteries but it just doesn't work anymore. If you look on the treadmill you should see a sticker with a QR code to the Spax app. You can make an account on there and access your treadmill through Bluetooth. As you are navigating the app, it will try and make you purchase a "plan". Just keep clicking away. You can access your treamill's controls without the subscription. Hope this helps!
