I purchased the 4.2 Ultrean several months ago and just love it. That being said, we travel quite a bit in our 5th wheel RV and I found myself packing and unpacking my air fryer every time we decided to take a trip. I finally broke down and got the larger model 5.8 to leave at home and it works just as great as the smaller version, as you can see from my posted pictures. I have included shots of the 2 models side by side so comparisons can be made. The basket on the smaller model is round. On the larger model, it is rectangular with rounded corners. The larger model has many more settings, but the one I like the best is the "reheat" button. Comes on at 370 and cook for 3 minutes. Perfect! Does a lot more than just "air fry". I baked a bundt cake (6 cup size) and it came out perfect!

There is no practical way to deep fry at home in my view. You need to heat and use a bunch of oil and then, when the oil is spent, dispose of it. But who doesn't love deep fried foods? This air fryer is an excellent compromise at a very reasonable price. Just know that it is large, like a few gallon bucket size and it's not the type of kitchen appliance you take out to use and put away. Mine fit well beneath the cabinets in a corner. But with that size you get a large basket for what you are cooking. The control board has lots of options and presets and is easy to use. Frankly, just using it for frozen potatoes and similar [fries/tots/nuggets] makes it worth it as they come out with the crunch and texture you want and darn close to deep fried. No more heating up the big oven, which does a good job but not great. It comes with a good sized recipe booklet and there are many websites with more recipes as well. If you have the room, it is a fun and enjoyable addition to your kitchen.

Received my Ultrean 5.8 Air Fryer after returning the Consori 5.8 fryer so I was a little apprehensive after a bad experience. I have only used it twice..first to make egg bites which turned out perfect and today to make chicken tenders..holy cow...they were fantastic. I also ordered parchment liners so there is a minute amount of cleanup. The machine has not given off any plastic odor...I used the vinegar/lemon juice procedure as recommended before cooking anything. I have had contact with the support staff and am very impressed. Looking forward to trying many more recipes in my new air fryer...cookbooks arriving tomorrow!! UPDATE..made contact with Ultrean on June 23 requesting info on obtaining a new grill plate as mine was starting to chip. Received new grill plate on June 29 FREE of charge. Great customer service! Photo steak/asparagus bundles cooked in AF..🧑🍳👍

We've never had an air fryer before and were slightly worried it wouldn't live up to expectations. Boy were we wrong! It has exceeded expectations in every way. The first thing we made in here were buffalo chicken drumsticks and they were 10/10. The fryer cooked the chicken just right and left the skin crispy and delicious. Not having to use oil was a huge plus and left us not feeling the dreaded sluggish feeling we normally get after eating fried food. The recipe book makes this look incredible versatile and we look forward to using it multiple times a week.

After receiving my Ultrean air fryer in the mail I was first amazed by its technological designs. It was astonishing simple to use and the instructions were easy to follow. Much more cleaner than using an oven which always results in a dirty mess to clean up afterwards. For the price it’s abilities and the meals it cooks for us, has been more than just a convenient. I would definitely recommend this air fryer to those that have been looking for a high quality air fryer but at a reason price!

Totally mind blown by this fryer. I didn't realize what I was missing out on until I got this air fryer. Made french fries as a first attempt and really loved the freshness, crispiness and taste of it. I didn't miss not having oil in it at all. I still have to try other foods but I will update my review as and when I test it thoroughly. But for now really satisfied with the product. Highly recommend this product due to the speed , quantity and quality of food you can prepare with it

I looooove this air fryer! I probably use this at least five times a week to make dinner, be it breaded chicken or drumsticks, sweet potato or zucchini fries. Everything I've made in it so far has been delicious, and so much healthier for you than a traditional fryer! I love the cookbook that it came with, and it's so easy to use and to clean. I've been recommending it to all of my family and friends, it's that good. Overall, a great buy!

Never owned one before. So I thought I'd give it a try. I bounced around from site to site getting an idea as to what would be a good one for me. I ended up getting this one. For my money I thought I was getting what I wanted and really not knowing if I would have a need or even like to have one. After receiving my order I thought I'd try. Threw in some potatoes chopped in about 1/4" pieces. Not bad. So not knowing how to cook I think I'll check out some recipes. Maybe this will help me to eat my own cooking. By the way, I bought the potatoes already cut into 1/4" pieces. I'm going to give this air fryer a Thumbs Up. Yeah I know, it's a little premature to rate it good for only using it one time. I guess I'm just being optimistic.
