UPDATE: Do not buy! They lowered the price to dump this boat anchor junk. Had hopes for it. The convoluted instructions are poorly written. The settings do nothing. Wasted my time trying to get it to work. Amazon needs to do a better job of filtering absolute junk out of the system. Most reviews that are recent give this product a thumbs down. Bring the ZERO stars back so we can choose it! This thing does not seem to be charging. It turns on and appears to operate, but, it has been charging for about 3 hours now. Got this for almost nothing. I'll check it with a meter and determine if has an issue. If this thing takes 4 or 5 hours to charge, then the instructions should note it. As for functionality and effectiveness, it is unknown. Makes noise and blinks. Might run birds off. We will see. Gonna keep it because it is not worth my time to return it. Gave it a 2 because it may or may not be charging. Reviews are not good for this thing but I got it for almost nothing. I just need the strobes to work at night.

Easy to install and intuitive to use, this device is equipped with a highly sensitive motion sensor. When activated, it emits a strong sound and flashes LED lights, effectively deterring animals from entering the protected area. Since I set it up, I haven't encountered any unwanted animals.

Looked ok when I received it, but after researching the thing decided it probably would not be effective in my large yard with so many chipmunks.

The repellent effect is very obvious. It successfully chases away all kinds of animals and makes my life a lot quieter. The quality is also very good, the workmanship is very fine, and the solar charging function is very practical.

The alarms did not stop going off with nothing around. Set on lowest sensitivity and also tried all the different settings. There is no "nocturnal only" setting either, just setting that don't make alarm or ultrasonic noise. UPDATE: Took days to try to get in touch with the company. There is no contact information on the box or in the instructions but it says to contact them if you have a problem. Eventually got through to them through Amazon somehow. Unfortunately I did not open / install the item until > 30 days after I bought it So I couldn't create a return.

Overall, this solar animal repeller purchase was not a good purchase. The audible alarm sounded continuously when no animals or people were in the vicinity. I tried moving the device and also turning the alarm off for awhile and then turning it back on. The problem kept repeating itself. I finally just turned the audible alarm off completely. The LED lights did work however. I returned this product for a refund. I also need to mention that the company did not send me the same model as advertised
