A few years ago, ants started being a problem in my apartment. First flying females would appear, then a horde of them would suddenly appear in the front of my apartment, just pouring in. I'd spend a day wielding bug spray and fight like it was Normandy Beach. Last year they invaded my bed. I woke up covered in ants with a massive group of them treading on me and past me to nowhere. They started again this year and luckily in my frantic search for relief I found Spectracide Bug Stop. Great price, good size, and worked pretty quickly. The ants had started spreading and being busy all over my apartment, which is not how I wanted to live. They were starting to get to the kitchen cabinets, and we can't have that. I'm really glad that I found this product. I sprayed as soon as I got the bottle and at first they little blighters looked like they might survive, but after about half an hour things started calming down. I slept without being awakened by the tickle of tiny feet. There were no little scurrying bodies this morning, and I saw none all day. And I still have a lot of product left! ... show more

I'm using this in my workshop shed. It can get pretty spidery in there - like you need to enter with broom in hand to knock down all the webs. This is working well for me in keeping them at bay.

    • Where is the gallon?
I usually get the gallon. Somehow it said out of stock so I had to take this one. I have been using it for a while and I can say I it works so I go with it until someone lets me know about a better one. And it is very affordable.

    • Bugs Are Moving Slower
I have used this brand before and I am extremely disappointed in my results. Last night I felt like I was being i.n.v.a.d.e.d!!! It was awful! I thought this wS supposed to be direct kill but they lived! Maybe I got a bad bottle? I spray the walls and the bugs still crawl on them, completely unaffected. NOT DEAD!!! Label says that this is supposed to last for a while after spraying. I don't understand why this is so ineffective. I have used Spectricide pesticides before and been very happy. This one was a waste of money 💵 ... show more

    • This stuff is dangerous very toxic do not use doors
I had to call 1- 800 poison because when I used this in my apartment the fumes made me sick and I looked it up online… they say the active ingredient in this is the most toxic bug spray available it’s been 24 hours and I still don’t feel great I still have a headache so wear respirator if you use this Apparently it can easily cause respiratory failure according to what medical professionals have written it definitely kills black ants I had them all over my apartment Scattered trying all kinds of different ways to get rid of them and nothing seemed to be working.. ... show more
