There has been a huge decrease in the mosquitos, ticks, and other bugs in our yard! Which is exactly what I wanted since I have pets and children. The scent just smells slightly like deet, but it isn't super strong smelling. I didn't have an issue with these leaking from the hose spout or the spray part.     • Works for a few weeks, just not 12

12 weeks is stretching it. Here in mosquito heaven (Houston burbs), mosquito will always be a problem. I bought and used this before and was very happy with it. I tried bought the bulk since I moved and have a lot of property to cover. While it does keep MOST mosquitoes away, it does not deter 100% of them, more like 97%. What is interesting is where I do spray, very little but as soon as you step away from where it's treated, you're a dead man. I tell my guests to "stay on the reservation" and if they step out, "they're on their own". The reservation is tame and we do get 3 or 4 Asian Tigers (if you know, they're mental) when we have a gathering (more CO2 around) but if I'm on the patio alone, it's good. Spray when cool (early morning or right after sunset); you don't want to burn your grass and apparently this spray degrades in the sun left in the bottle so keep it out of the sun. ... show more

I have been getting absolutely destroyed by mosquitos any time I spend more than 5 min outside in my wooded yard after 6-7pm (South Carolina mountains). I was getting desperate and someone recommended this spray on reddit. I used one bottle and sprayed it all over the yard, shrubs, trees and bushes. That same afternoon I did not get touched ONCE by a mosquito, I only saw two in the span of 3 hours outside and they didn't even bite me. I can't believe how well it works. Normally, I would have to use citronella, mosquito coils, fans and still get covered in bites. For the first time ever, I was able to walk around and enjoy my yard in the afternoon and evening. Now, its only been sprayed for one day, but if this lasts just two weeks, I will be more than happy. I'm going to stock up on these for next summer. 100% recommended ... show more

In South Texas during late spring/summer season mosquitoes are not only so big, that they can carry you away, they also sting you and leave welts after they bite. I was having a problem in our backyard and since we have three shorthaired dogs, I would have them hurry up and use the bathroom because I’ve seen dogs welt up from getting bit by so many mosquitoes. So I stumbled on this asked a couple people around my neighborhood and this is what you want to use! After using this, the mosquitoes were gone, the only downfall is because it’s still a rainy season it washes away. But I will continue to use this over and over again if it means no mosquitoes around us! Also, if you do have dogs, make sure they don’t go outside for at least an hour or until the grass is dry to make sure that they don’t get sick, or the runs! 1 bottle covered our whole backyard! ... show more

    • Works Decently, but Not as Long-Lasting as Expected

This hose-end sprayer is very easy to use and I do like the convenience of just attaching it to the hose and flipping the switch. It sprays evenly and covers a large area, which made treating the yard pretty quick and simple. In terms of effectiveness, I noticed it did help reduce mosquitoes and some other insects shortly after application. However, the results didn’t seem to last quite as long as advertised in my yard, so I found myself needing to reapply sooner than expected in some areas. It’s still a handy product for quick yard treatments and works well for initial knockdown, especially around patios and grassy areas. I just wish the long-term control held up a bit better throughout the season. Overall, it’s easy to use and gets the job done, but the results were more average than outstanding for me. ... show more
