  • Size matters!
Not happy that I missed this on Amazon Vine, but for $284, all updates performed and it’s still fast is good enough for me. I couldn’t find a cheaper pc with 16gb RAM. only gripe is one of my mice won’t connect via Bluetooth. I like that mouse because it recharges and needs no dongle. The system easily handles my OBS connection and video sources with minimal CPU usage, including video game capture from a device so I wouldn’t need an expensive video card. This PC does it for me and I’m glad I got 3 years protection. My 3 year old laptop has just died so I know I’m good for 3 more no matter what. Smallest pc I’ve ever had. Great value. ... show more

  • Small but performance is really great
This mini PC performs really good being this small. The AMD Ryzen 3 5300U CPU with its 4 cores and 8 threads handles multitasking without breaking a sweat, and can hit up to 3.8GHz when pushed. It definitely feels snappier and more responsive than older N150 or 3500U models. Out of the box, it comes with 16GB of DDR4 RAM and a 512GB PCIe NVMe SSD, which is plenty for immediate use, but I really appreciate that the system isn't locked down, you have the option to expand the memory up to 64GB and upgrade the drive to a 2TB SSD if your storage needs grow. The connectivity options are honestly what make this box stand out from typical budget mini desktops. Having dual 2.5G Ethernet ports is a massive plus if you want to use this for specific network routing, a home server setup, or just want ultra-fast wired speeds. On the wireless side, it includes WiFi 6 and Bluetooth 5.3, so even if you don't hardwire it, your network connections and peripheral pairing remain incredibly stable and current with modern standards. Setting up a multi-monitor workstation is also dead simple with this unit. It supports up to three displays simultaneously by utilizing the HDMI, DisplayPort, and Type-C connections on the back. It also packs USB 3.2 ports for fast data transfers with external drives. Pushing pixels to multiple screens for development work or office productivity doesn't seem to bog it down, though you should manage expectations - it handles media playback and light gaming perfectly fine, but it is not meant to be a heavy-duty gaming rig. Thermals are always my main concern with micro computers, but the cooling design here does a solid job of keeping things stable. The internal fan stays relatively quiet during regular operation, so it doesn't sound like a tiny jet engine sitting on your desk even during extended use. It feels like a highly practical machine for a clean, clutter-free workspace! ... show more

  • Compact, Quiet Workhorse for Everyday Productivity
This mini pc has been a pleasant surprise. For such a small computer, the performance is impressive. The 2.6-3.8Ghz CPU and 16GB of DDR4 handle my day-to-day work without issues. Over the last month or so, I've been using office suites, documents, spreadsheets, and a pile of web-based tools and they all run smoothly, even with multiple apps and browser tabs open. It feels responsive in exactly the way you want a work machine to be. One of the best parts is how quiet it is. At idle and during light work it’s effectively silent; I have to lean in to tell if the fan is even on. Even under a decent load it’s not exactly silent anymore, but it still stays impressively quiet compared to my laptop. Paired with the compact size, it disappears on the desk and it's easy to tuck behind a monitor. This mini pc simply works easily right out of the box, too. I connected the power, popped a USB keyboard/mouse combo on, connected a monitor and it fired right up. It seamlessly connected to my Wifi and it was all systems go: smooth, quiet, and impressively fast. The upgrade options are another strong point. Knowing the RAM is upgradeable helps; if my workload grows, I can bump it up instead of replacing the whole system. For a compact, power‑efficient PC that’s focused on work-related tasks with a side of light gaming or media, this one hits a very nice balance of performance, noise level, and flexibility while staying budget friendly. ... show more

  • Decent option for general everyday computing
I wasn’t sure what to expect with this mini-PC, but the dual 2.5Gb network ports caught my attention. That opens a lot of options such as home brew router. But lets not get ahead of ourselves. Getorli put together a nice mini-PC that has potential. With a Ryzen 3 CPU, 16GB RAM, and a 512GB M.2 SSD its ready for most home tasks. You can surf the web all day long, you can write all the emails your heart desires, and gaming isn’t out of the question. The 512GB drive limits the number of things you can load, but it has a spare M.2 slot. In my case I put a 1TB SK Hynix drive in it. Windows found the drive immediately, and it was ready for use. I loaded Battle.net, Diablo 2, Diablo 3, Diablo 4, and World of Warcraft. Diablo 2 ran smoothly, and Diablo 3 would occasionally studder. Both games were playable. Diablo 4 warned the CPU didn’t meet its minimum requirements, but it allowed me to install it anyway. The game loaded, but gameplay was poor. With World of Warcraft, I had to play on minimum graphics settings, but it averaged 40-50 frames per second. Good enough for questing, good enough for dailies, but I wouldn’t recommend group progression content. My next upgrade was Wifi-7. All I had was an Intel BE200 chip, and after install the mini-PC wouldn’t POST. With 600Mb upload and download Wifi-6 is enough. Do I recommend Getorli’s Ryzen 3 5300U mini-PC? If all you want to do is surf the web, and already own a monitor, keyboard, and mouse, I think you’ll be happy with it. If you don’t have a monitor, keyboard, and mouse I’d highly recommend researching refurbished laptops, because this $315 mini PC will become a $500 system that is several generations out-of-date. Alternatively, you could try to run something like pfSense or Tomato and make it into a homebrew router. ... show more
