Don't waste your time or money...we have had these plugged in since we received them and they do ZERO to reduce insects or rodents I have a huge daddy long leg and cricket problem on our back patio and we have a large population of mice that make their way to our patio and garbage bins we have these plugged in next to every area these things are visiting and have literally watch the population grow! Spiders make webs right next to the plug ins and rodents walk over the top of them to get o the garbage bins....they are useless and before anyone asks are the outlets working YES they certainly are....DON'T WASTE TIME OR $$$!!!! The units light up so you can see they are receiving electricity you can't hear them but I believe we are not supposed to hear them only the pests are supposed to be deterred by the sound of them ...well they aren't ...they don't even know they are there or plugged in.....
