I had a rat that built a nest under hood of my car after property next to us was cleared. Was having a problem getting rid of it. Bought this product sprayed on cotton balls and placed them under hood. Also sprayed on foam areas under hood. Never saw rodent again or a new nest. Mice seeking shelter in house this winter, trapped 1 to2 a day. It was suggested by a freind to use peppermint oil. I found this spray available and glad I did. Sprayed where we thought where the mice were traveling..worked within night no more mice.

General knowledge or not, mice( house or field) don't like the smell of peppermint. While the outer the peppermint oil you use the better, it won't kill mice but the potential for peppermint oil to be a deterrent is real and strong. That's the plus here. The minus is how often it must be sprayed and where. In the home, particularly the kitchen, you may need to spray every other day. So,consider the amount you may need to spray, where, and how often and purchase accordingly. Don't use any brand of peppermint oil if you want to get rid of them. Use this ONLY to deter them and or maintain that deterrence until you get or find an effective solution that works for your living situation. ... show more

    • It smells good and it works!
I was concerned the repellent spray would have an unpleasant smell but it did not. As for its use as a repellent neither my cat nor I saw any sighting of a mouse or mice once I started spraying.

    • Works on outside mice!
My boat is a 17' runabout that lives in my driveway and has a waterproof cover on it. That protects the electronics, but it also hides the critters. I found my boat absolutely covered in mouse droppings and chewed up upholstery after a year of not using it. Since then, I had tried a couple of brands of repellent granules and while they reduced the problem, they didn't get rid of it. This stuff did. Mice just don't like this and stay away. I spray once a month or so and just don't find the droppings anymore. And no more damage to my upholstery. I personally find the smell of this stuff pleasant. ... show more

    • It works for 2 days
I bought it to get rid of squirrels. Not really get rid of because they are all over in my neighborhood. I just wanted them not come around. It did work for 2 days. So I understand I have to reapply every couple days. I think it's a losing battle.

    • Worked better for bugs
Originally bought this to deter squirrels who were doing damage to a patio screen. The scent is nice and minty, so it was pleasant to have around a living space; however it didn't really do much to keep the squirrels away. It did however cut down on the bugs which was a nice bonus!
