I got this hose for use in my yard to water some plants and trees. The length is sufficiently long enough for me to reach the trees and plants without putting any stress on the faucet connection. Best of all, unlike some (rubber hoses) this hose does not seem to have a memory. This means I can roll up the hose without having to ensure that I'm following the same pattern it was initially rolled to prevent kinks. This is worth mentioning as I have had numerous hoses leak and deteriorate where kinks developed in them. If this hose will not kink, that eliminates one possible source of breakdown. I also really like the ability to turn off the water at the business end. This allows me to use the hose without the sprayer (more on that later). It allows me to water one tree or plant and move to another without wasting a drop of water. This is significant as I live in a region where drought and the sufficiency of potable water are concerns; being able to conserve every last drop of water is important. Being able to move between plants without wasting water is, therefore, a valuable consideration. While using a spray nozzle would usually allow an user to turn off the water between plants, too often spray nozzles pressurize water too much for gentle watering of smaller plants (especially those in newly turned soil). While the included spray nozzle can be set to spray water at a decent pressure (sufficient, for instance, to spray down and clean a sidewalk), it also has a setting that is more reminiscent of a gentle rainfall. This latter setting is the one I prefer to use to water my plants. Although this hose comes with a wall mount to hold the garden hose, I have chosen not to use it as I prefer not to drill into my wall. As such, I cannot comment on the wall mount. Final score: 10/10; Would Recommend!

I ordered this hose to keep in my basement for easy transport of water when doing fish tank water changes, as opposed to constantly filling multiple buckets. It's lightweight and easy to hang and store, which makes it a convenient alternative to bulkier hoses. The brass connections are a nice touch, preventing leaks, and I also appreciate the ball valve, which adds extra control. However, I’m docking one star because I had some concerns using this for my fish tank. I knew it needed to be thoroughly rinsed before using it, so I flushed several gallons through the hose beforehand. Unfortunately, some residual chemicals from the manufacturing process remained inside, and I noticed my fish started acting strangely and floating upside down. Thankfully, I was able to perform a full water change without any casualties, but I would caution anyone intending to use this for their aquarium. If you're planning on using it for watering a garden, it might be a safer option. Personally, I will likely not use this hose for my fish again.

This hose comes with brass fittings and a very well made nozzle. The nozzle has several adjustments so your water stream can vary from a fast, high-pressure stream to one that can gently spray water for the daintiest of flowers. The two ends of the hose are made of brass, not plastic like so many others I've had. The diameter of the hose is smaller than my old hose. It looks like a half inch to me, but because the hose does not collapse like the kind that shrink up, the water stream stays strong and steady. I used the fast, high-pressure stream on my deck and patio to clean off the remnants of snow. It brushed away what little was left of the snow and cleaned the deck and patio at the same time. I am very pleased. It comes with a big plastic hook that you can mount permanently, or use its big opening to just hook it to the water spout. Very handy. It also has a spigot on the 'male' end so you can turn the water off and on from where you're standing. I used this feature to add temporary pressure for added force on the dirty patio, but it is also useful to change out the nozzle without needing to run back to the spigot. Overall, the hose is made very well with good quality construction and materials. It is small and lightweight, making it easy to store and lug around your yard or flower garden. I saw no negatives or down sides to it what-so-ever - and think it's a great buy. Check it out. I like it a lot and highly recommend it.

In some situations this is just a regular water hose but if you want a really good hose that is easy to move around and doesn’t kink up in the process this is a great hose. I keep this one in the barn and move it around depending on what I need to do. I don’t like leaving water hoses where a horse can step on it. A 1,200 pound horse with a steel shoe can ruin a hose with one step. The cloth material covering the hose I feels nice. It’s very durable and doesn’t pick up nearly as much dirt as I expected when moving it around. It is very kink resistant. My son in law came over to work our granddaughter’s horses and said “I really like that hose.” That’s a pretty good endorsement considering I didn't mention the hose to him. The shutoff valve on the end is nice quality brass and could come in handy to change the nozzle or remove the nozzle to add another hose. The included spray nozzle is probably fine for watering flowers every now and then but as a working hose that nozzle is junk. No worries though, the hose is worth the price. Just consider the nozzle as a one of those “included at no extra cost” things. My rating system: 5 stars..... Very good, recommended. 4 stars..... Better than average. 3 stars..... Average, nothing especially good or bad. 2 stars..... Less than average, not recommended. 1 star ..... Junk, do not buy.
