I was looking for a good soundbar with Dolby Atmos and a subwoofer that was not overpriced and didn't look like a toy. After a lot of research, I landed on the Ultimea Poseidon M60. The install and setup was a breeze. The app is easy to navigate and set your sound how you like it. Bluetooth connected withiut issues and I have never had a dropped signal. Even paired with my Amazon echo to use as a Bluetooth speaker for better sound. The quality is outstanding and it is durable. It is simplistic and fades into the space under my TV. The sound is absolutely stunning from playing music to watching movies. It added the rich sound that my new Samsung QLED deserved to have. The bass from the subwoofer is excellent and can be felt if you want. This thing can get loud too, which is great for parties or hosting movie nights. The price says value, the product says amazing.

I purchased this to replace a soundbar that was well reviewed but I found underwhelming, so it was with nervous concern that I unboxed it. The construction is actually in three pieces, with the bar components locking together with a twist that created a secure join. The third piece, of course, is the passive subwoofer that connects with a coaxial RCA style terminated cable. The materials have a quality feel to them, but not premium. The two mounting points were similar to the unit I removed for a painless installation, and the included screws and mounting (plastic) brackets seem like they would do fine. The unit connection options are solid, and have used three of them. The USB was a trial run before I mounted the bar under the television panel, and it worked well and sounded much better than the previous soundbar. I also tried the optical connection and that was also good. But the connection I'm using is an ARC based HDMI port that works extremely well with this soundbar setup. Here's how I set it up: I plugged it in. That's it, given that I was previously using a soundbar with ARC it dropped right in to the bracket I had previously installed, and immediately gave me better sound than I'd been dealing with. To test, I watched an F1 race and it was highly intelligible and easy to understand the commentators. Overall the audio was good, not perfect, but I'm used to studio monitors and have an ear for audio. For the price point I am delighted with the quality of audio, and the sub provides enough oomph for general movie, video game, and internet sources. The sub will not give you sound like a theater, and the bar won't fool anyone either, but this is many times less expensive than the premium systems. I think this would be a great soundbar for use in apartments, condos, and other multi-family living arrangements because you can enjoy a movie without getting a knock on your door because of the boom boom from the sub. How you find this will depend on what your expectations are, certainly, but audio, in general, has a much higher bar than it did 40, 30, or even 20 years ago. I'm pleased with this purchase. 5/5 stars, would buy again.

I was not familiar with the brand Ultimea so I relied heavily on reading the reviews and now I'm definitely aware of Ultimea. Realistically, this M60 5.1 Dolby Atmos soundbar can't compete with true 5.1 systems or much more expensive systems but I would guess that this "budget" soundbar would more than impress 90% of the general public. The Poseidon M60 is an incredible 5.1 Dolby Atmos soundbar at a phenomenal price given how well it performs in ALL content whether it's Dolby Atmos, music, movies, sports, etc. I found this soundbar does exceptionally well with movies and music. I was looking for a 5.1 system to take full advantage of my new LG C5 OLED TV but I wasn't sure if I wanted rear satellites with wires all over the place. I know there's BT soundbars but it's always been hit and miss for me with connectivity and sound/lip syncing issues so I wanted a hardwired system. So when I came across the M60 I liked the compact set up of the 5 drivers in the soundbar and a hardwired subwoofer which would make for a clean and easy install and give me 5.1 Dolby Atmos. It's not true 5.1 Surround Sound since you don't have rear satellites but the soundbar does give you a real sense of sound coming from the sides instead of just in front of you. I'm very impressed with how well the center channel does at handling the voice/vocals. It's clear and precise that you catch everything that's said because at least for me and my set up the vocals sit on top of everything else rather than being buried underneath the bass or treble. And the subwoofer adds a nice punch and dimension to your content that is strong but doesn't drown out everything else. The mids and highs are quite crisp and sharp without being screechy even when I turn the treble all the way up to 6 in any of the "default" settings on the remote like movie, music, voice, etc. Now if you set a custom EQ setting in the app you shouldn't use the remote to turn the bass, treble, or mid range up and down. Doing that will revert you back to the "default movie" setting which will take you out of your personal EQ setting you set. You can however still adjust the "surround" and "xupmix" and keep your personal EQ setting. My preferred EQ setting in the app is "customize" and leaving my EQ flat (which is how I use most things with an EQ since that gives you the most accurate sound intended by the singer, sound engineer, producer, director, etc.). Plus I don't want to have to fuss with the EQ every time I change content (music, movies, streaming, etc.) and I feel that flat is the best all around setting for me. And I've played around with the "style" setting in the app but I just leave it dead center. Go ahead and play around and find what EQ setting works for you and the specific content you enjoy. There are preset EQ settings on the remote and in the app for movies, music, voice, sport, gaming, and night and I have to say they actually do a good job of changing the sound profile that there's a clear difference between them all. And the M60 really does give me Dolby Atmos/5.1 on Netflix, Disney, HBO Max, etc. (may need premium subscriptions to get Dolby Atmos). I'm so impressed with this "budget" soundbar that I've ordered a second one for my new TCL QM8K and I can't wait for it to arrive.
