The Bose TV Speaker helps you hear your TV better. It’s a small sound bar that clarifies speech and improves overall TV sound. Inside the TV speaker there are two full-range drivers angled to deliver wide, spacious sound and a center tweeter specifically focused on elevating vocals. Built-in Dolby decoding helps further enhance this compact TV speaker’s audio capabilities to deliver a more realistic and satisfying listening experience. Designed with simplicity in mind, this small soundbar only uses a single connection to the TV via an optical audio cable (included) or an HDMI cable (sold separately) and has you up and running in minutes. At just over 2" tall, the Bose TV Speaker is a compact sound bar that can be placed just about anywhere. And small LED lights on the front of this small soundbar turn on and/or change color for visual confirmation when certain features are enabled. They also blink in acknowledgement of volume changes. The Bose TV Speaker has HDMI-CEC, which allows the TV and this small soundbar to communicate when connected with an HDMI cable. Meaning when you turn the TV on, the TV speaker will automatically turn on too. With this technology, you can even keep using your current TV remote to control the volume of this compact soundbar. However, the Bose TV Speaker comes with its own remote. And on it, you can enable “dialogue mode” on the TV speaker to elevate vocals even more or press the “bass” button for some extra depth. Bose TV Speaker works great on my Samsung TV! This is a simple TV hooked up to a DVD player only. Newer movies have such loud music it is hard to hear the actors voices and this speaker handles that like a pro in Dialogue Mode while still improving all sounds. Wish I had bought it years ago!!! Worth every Penney spent on it. Arrived well packaged to prevent damage. Pros - Much improved sound! Get the right cord and anyone can set this up! (Lots of options for cords on the unit. Lots of compatibility.) No Wireless Junk to have to set up. Just plug and go. Cons - No buttons, everything done with a remote. Auto turn on, but no auto turn off.     • Easy to set up, great sound
I got this during the recent Amazon days when it was $80 less. This is a great soundbar at that price. Set up was literally taking it out of the box, plugging it in to the wall and then connecting it with the included optical cable and done. Sound is great, doesn't quite get the deepest bass, but again, this isn't their high end sound bar. It will turn itself off if the TV isn't on, which is good for saving power, but a little annoying at times. No where near enough for me though lower it's rating. ... show more

    • Good, but not great....This is a TV SPEAKER! Not a SOUNDBAR
The sound bar was nicely packed and had all of the wires I needed for a fast and easy installation. The equipment setup was super easy with only the power and optical cords to plug in. I was replacing a Samsung sound bar and the hookups were exactly the same. I replaced my old soundbar with the Bose because my old remote stopped working and I was hoping for a greatly improved quality of sound. Didn't get it. Please note that this item is not a SOUNDBAR, it is a TV speaker (I failed to note this when I ordered it on Amazon) With the legendary sound quality of Bose I expected much more. While the quality of sound is far better than the TV speakers, the bass is inadequate. The instructions claim that I can adjust it, but following the simple instructions I detected no difference in either the + or - direction. Very disappointed with that. The sound is slightly tinny without the full theater sound I'd expected. This speaker is NOT cheap by any means, which I expected from Bose - you get what you pay for. But if I had to do it over again I'd opt for a cheaper Samsung Soundbar with the full base capability. Yes, I could return it, but I'm just not that unhappy with the produce and I feel the Bose will last as long as I do. ... show more

Its a Bose speaker so the sound is amazing and its Sleek design looks great and doesn't take up a lot of room. So easy to connect multiple devices to it and for a Bose speaker the price was well worth it. Top quality from a well known brand Bose never disappoints.

    • Not Worth It!!
This Bose TV Speaker has pretty good sound quality for the tv because it does sound better than the tv speakers and better volume and the speech is a little clearer, but that's about as far as it goes. I purchased this sound bar after looking at many, but mostly because I have been a Bose fan for many decades and in the days of them becoming to where they are now everything was exceptional until I received this product. Bose dropped the ball on this one and seem to be living now off their name of top-quality products and service in the past and you know what starts to happen when you cut back on the quality, you start to lose your long time customers and no repurchase's from most new ones so business starts to decline, and we all know what has happened to big companies in the past. You charge high dollars so put back in the quality you use too. For two days I have been trying to get a simple question answered from them and no response. After purchasing this product, I have come to realize the only subwoofer I can add to this sound bar which has poor bass, is programed only for their brand, and their cheapest woofer starting at $500.00 plus, that is ridicules. The Bluetooth is version is 4.2, that came out around 2011 or 12 so outdated, much cheaper brands even have the newer versions, heck the remote is not even Bluetooth! You have to make sure no other devices have Bluetooth on to connect to a single device you want par and listen two, a lot of others allow two at once so you can switch back and forth. There is absolutely no way to turn on or control the sound bar if you lose the remote, battery goes bad or if the remote goes bad, but we all know that does not happen now does it? For a 300-dollar soundbar especially from Bose I expected more, half was for the name and the other half for the actual worth of the unit and to get more bass I need to spend over $500.00 more when other top brand units come with a sound bar for under $300.00. I should be able to connect other subwoofer brands to this unit but from all my checking only a couple of people have gotten lucky, I have two and neither one will work with this unit when I connected them, so It's kind of like I gotcha from Bose if you want to upgrade your sound bar for $500.00 plus more to Bose. Yes, looks like this one is going back to Bose. Update: I decided to keep the speaker even as disappointed as I am with this so outdated speaker and mine was made in 2023 and then 28 days after using it just stopped working after being on for about a hour and a half, it only blinks the two lights white 3 times and turns the tv side light green and does this over and over again and will not turn off unless you unplug it, plug it back up and light off a couple of minutes then automatically turns back on and starts the same process over and over, So much for quality Bose I did not even get a months' worth of use and thank goodness I had two days left to return, never again for me Bose. Service is nonexistent never got a answer for a simple question I sent earlier so just imagine how it is with a real problem. ... show more

    • Excellent Sound, Clarity, and Bass Response!
I was concerned at first about the bass and feeling disappointment because all I hear are highs and hi-fidelity, but no low-end bass. Well, I was wrong. My soundbar is the best of everything in a small footprint. You can adjust the bass level, and when turned up, it will make a noticeable difference. The clarity blends well with the voice and music. Watching movies now is a delight, with perfect sound balance. No distortion at all. I can finally hear my TV with ease thanks to this Bose soundbar! NEVER TV SPEAKERS AGAIN! ... show more
