This starter kit has everything a budding winemaker needs to get started! It's a good value and includes tools like the carboy, airlock, and siphon. Highly recommend for beginners!

Though it says this is a complete kit it is not. Doesn't include the sanitizer, potassium metabisulfite (campden tablets). Which is a disappointment when it says it's a complete kit, now we have to wait for the other item to ship in order to use the kit. Otherwise the items are good quality, sturdy and look like we will use them multiple times. I think it's a bad move on the manufacturers part to avoid including one small packet of sanitizer in a $216 kit. ... show more

    • Great kit for someone new at wine making!
We made 4 gallons of dry Concord Grape wine with the kit. Our neighbor has a vineyard and makes small batches of wine for other growers, so we gave the 6 gallon carboy to him. I bought 4 1-gallon carboys which were easier to maneuver. Looking forward to tasting our creation in a few months!
