I've installed 50 of these. One failed from a lightning strike. Another failed for unknown reasons. The other 48 are in service for years with no trouble.

BEWARE, IT'S NOT GIGABIT! OK, to be fair, it doesn't say it is either, but seriously it's 2026 already, and this is a POE+ injector, so why the ancient history? If you're not going to warn folks that it's about a decade obsolete and near-useless at 100Mb, maybe don't sell it? From reading the specs, it does 'stay sharp' at least :) Really annoying wasting money and dealing with return hassles over poorly-written specs & descriptions! ... show more

As others have mentioned, this is deceitfully advertised by omission of details. It is NOT Gb capable but is actually 100Mbs. This is old stock of a discontinued item. It's also twice the price of the PoE injectors currently sold in the Ubiquiti store. Having said that, it is perfectly fine for running Ubiquiti PoE cameras since most of them are 100Mbs. The base mount is different than the new PoE injectors, having wider tabs and more space between the screw holes. I was in a hurry when buying this and completely missed the other reviewers comments which are all spot-on. I got duped and have to live with it to avoid the return ban. ... show more

Nicely built as nearly all Ubiquiti equipment is, but probably stay away: this is not Gb compliant. Good price, though so there may be use cases where this is useful.
