The seat is stiff and painful after less than an hour. The armrests push into your sitting area and squeeze into your body causing lack of ability to shift for comfort. We were looking forward to replacing our old recliner with this one, but it didn’t meet expectations. The chair was easy to assemble and disassemble, and it does look nice. The color is rich, the faux leather feels soft, and the cushioning is comfortable. However, the size is misleading. This recliner is advertised as oversized, but when I measured it, the width was about 38 inches at most. The arms, while plush, press against both hips, which makes it feel smaller than a standard recliner. I’m not particularly large, so this was a disappointment. If you don’t truly care about the size, you may love this chair. It looks great, feels nice to sit in, and would suit a smaller frame perfectly. This chair is way too small for a tall person. I went back in and checked the description it states oversized. It is not. My husband is 6’3”; back of the chair doesn’t even reach the top of his shoulders. If you are a smaller in size and stature, like me; I’m 5’3” and the chair was purchased for you I think you would like the chair. Unfortunately it was not bought for me.
