Purchased the US-8 POE switch along with several other UniFi devices. All new and packaged (and works) well and as advertised. The switch does run very hot (72c) but as reported by many others, this appears acceptable.

    • Unifi 8 port switch is a quality switch
I have two of these Unifi switches with 10 Unifi outdoor APs connected to the two switches. The switches are connected by an outdoor fiber backhaul connected to the SFP ports. Fiber run outdoors eliminates lightning issues which we have had with outdoor CAT6 cable. The switch does run hot as others have mentioned even without a lot of power being pulled for POE devices. ... show more
