I did not have a 24-hour helper after ankle surgery. Getting up to turn on or off the fan was tedious a chore. Navigating from the living room to the bedroom at night previously required getting to the bedroom to turn on the light, back to the living room to turn off the light, back to the bedroom, and do it again in the morning since I get up before dawn. I can now turn on or off the lights in either room, from either room, even through closed doors. Every friend that came to visit me during recovery wanted the link to order this. You will not be disappointed. There is no setup required. Just plug it in and it works. The remote control is preset. I saved the instructions because you can pair it manually if for any unknown reason it loses the codes. I have not had to do this.

I'm just tickled with these! It's amazing that such a small thing as not having to walk across the room to turn the lamps on or off could be so delightful. Just a little kindness to gift to myself to make my daily life a bit easier. I'm so pleased!! The way our living room is set up is a bit silly, the switches are at the doorway so on the one hand you want the lamp on to not trip over things en route to sit down for a movie, but on the other hand you want the lamps off for the movie. We'd been using the light of a phone to safely walk to our seats with the lamps off. Often we'd be all comfy under blankets and realise the lights were on and someone would have to get up... Now we have the power to control the lamps from our seats! It's such a treat! They work great so far. I was worried they're too cheap to be decent quality but not so! They don't get hot or anything worrisome. No nasty stink like cheap plastic often has (though there was that gross febreze type stink amazon products tend to have, but a week on the porch aired that out). Definitely would buy again or recommend to a friend!

This company is amazing! After one year, I had difficulty with one of the plug-in's. I contacted them...they answered immediately. We did some trouble shooting but could not get the one plug to work. Like lightening, they are sending me a replacement. This is not normal customer service today! They were prompt. Their messages were kind and helpful. Their work culture is evident by the way they treat their customers. I would highly, highly, HIGHLY recommend you purchase from this company for remote outlets! (By the way, these remotes are so useful....from turning on lights, playing music or even starting coffee!)

This purchase was a replacement. I had a remote control for my lights for over 10 years and finally it needed to be replaced. Of course, this means that it worked for a really long time. This one is similar and it works the same way. It's a little smaller and I like that about it. Being able to turn on three lamps, with my little remote, without going to them individually is very convenient. I highly recommend this product.

Overall these are fine and do mostly what I wanted them to. I was looking to operate some lights that are not connected to outlets already operated with a light switch. I was happy with how easy they were to setup and connect and even mount to the wall (using some 3M Command Strips) but I still have some unreliable results that I can't seem to figure out. In one set of them (I bought two), it will reliably turn off the one that is about 6 feet away, but unreliably turn off the one that is about 12 feet away. Neither are obstructed. With the other set, the closer one is about 4 feet and the further is about 8 feet, and it still happens irregularly with these as well. I don't ever seem to have a problem turning the switch (lights) on, it's only when I'm trying to turn them off. I often have to pop it down from the wall and manually point it at the fussy one to get it to work.
