This Uber mini chill fridge is great! I love the retro look. I ordered the silver and it looks awesome sitting on my black desk. It's quiet just a small hum vibration noise. Not loud at all. It holds 6 12 ounce cans perfectly. Or 4 normal water bottles. It has a removable plastic rack. It's small size makes it perfect for so many locations. It measures about 10 inches tall, 9.5 inches deep and 7 inches wide. It has a handle on the top for easy carrying. It's nice and lightweight, so easily portable. There is a aluminum colored snap handle on the door for ease of opening. I know it's supposed to be to be a chiller, meaning it keeps cold items cold, however my son had to test it by putting room temperature cans inside and they were cold surprising fast. Within hours we had very cooled soda. It keeps our beverages perfectly cold. There's is also a heat feature for warm items. The warmer works great also. It's easy to operate. I really like that it also comes with a cigarette lighter plug in. This makes it very convenient for road trips. So much better than the hassle of an ice chest. No mess with water and ice in the car. This will be perfect for patio this summer. I can see this mini chill fridge being used very often in my home. It would make a great gift also. I will need to purchase an additional one as my son has taken this one over he loves it so much. I'm beyond happy with the quality and function of this product. I see lots of uses for this little mini chiller and or warmer in my life. My husband works 2nd shift so I am usually awake hours before him and I get hungry way before he gets up, so this mini fridge is great on the warm setting for keeping his breakfast warm without having to heat it up in the microwave and trying to keep it from drying out or being all soggy. We also spend quite a bit of time traveling and camping, so this is great for in the vehicle since our pets travel with us it will keep their water and ours cold. It will also be great to set outside the camper so we don't have to keep going in and out to get a drink. The main reason I wanted this chiller is for in my bathroom. I make all my own face lotions and serums and because of the essential oils in them they have a short life span and must be kept refrigerated. I decided to test the manufacturers instructions on this mini fridge being allowed to run continuously if kept atleast 6 inches from the wall. So for the last 2 weeks since I bought it I only turned it off for a brief period when I tested it from cold to warm. So far all is great not a single problem. The fan is still as quiet as when I first plugged it in. This mini chiller has done exactly as it claims... you put cold items in on the cold setting it keeps them cold. You put warm items in on the warm setting it keeps them warm. I really like that the shelf is removable. This allows me to take it out when traveling so my water bottles fit and when the shelf is in it works great for my face products and essential oils. The retro look takes me back to my youth and a simple time in life. It has a great carrying handle on the top so you don't have to worry about dropping it. The door handle to open it also locks in place which is great for traveling. It is very light weight weighing only about 3 pounds. PROS.... ---it can run continuously... if atleast 6 inches from wall ---does keep items cold and or warm ---comes with adapters for house and for the car ---removable shelf ---quiet ---self locking door handle ---light weight ---easy to carry with top handle ---all switches and plug in is on the back...so little kids can not play with ---comes with instruction sheet CONS... ---absolutely none so far... it does as stated it would. The media could not be loaded. This is a perfect size mini fridge for my son to have near his bedside or when he travels alone. He is diabetic and at times in the middle of the night he ends up waking up needing his insulin, drink or snack. It comes with an A/C adapter so he can have it plugged next to his bedside. Those that use insulins know that they have to be refrigerated. The fact that it has a mini removable shelf is another benefit of this fridge. This mini fridge allows him to keep his snack, drink separated from his insulin. This mini fridge comes with a D/C adapter which actually allows my son to travel safely without worrying about trying to keep his insulin cool. It fits on the floor of the passenger seat area which leaves sufficient space to allow air flow in the back where the fan is. It also has vents on each side for air flow to prevent the motor and fan from overheating. The fridge is able to hold a total of 6 12oz cans of soft drinks or if you remove the shelf it can hold a 16.9oz water bottle upright. It's like having a lunchbox that keeps cool at all times. The whole fridge measures 10.1/2" x 7" x 9" on the outside while the interior measures 8" x 5.1/2" x 51/2". The built-in handle is made of hard plastic that you just slide your hand or fingers into similar to a car handle that you would just lift. While he is home, he can have it placed near his bed for those late night emergency. I had to test it out myself when it first arrived before I gave it to him. I placed 6 12 oz cans that were room temperature into the fridge and it took 2hrs for the soft drinks to be cold enough to consume. If you can handle the sound of a computer fan that's the sound, it makes. So it is rather quiet but as it gets older like in all CPU fans it does get louder as time goes on or when it is dirty. Keep an eye on the fan and the ventilation slots to make sure there is no dust or hair collected to block it. I unplugged it and used an air compressor can blow short spurts of air to blow off the dust. Testing out to see how long it remain cool while it is unplugged. I left the fridge in the car, and when my car engine is off I would unplug it from the adaptor outlet that I use. After 3hrs I came back to the car the soft drinks were still cold although it did start to sweat. I did this test during the Florida winter which our temp did not go below mid 50's. The only issue I would say is the tab that is used for the door is made of plastic. If you pull on it too fast or too hard, it would snap the plastic door right off. You have to be really careful as to not yank the hard plastic too hard or fast otherwise it will break. Pros: Casing is plastic making it lightweight. Portable. A/C and D/C adaptor. Keeps drinks chilled even while it's unplugged up to 3hrs. Very quiet. The shelf is removable. Compact. Option to keep food warm. Con: door handle is made of hard plastic is on the rough side, possible of breaking when trying to open it fast. great for traveling, lightweight and portable. ... show more
