Hope I'm not kicking myself this summer for not getting a telescopic handle. Do like that you can kinda customize length to a degree. Skimmer head seems nice and thick all around the netting. Seems more durable then past skimmers. Time will tell. So far would recommend if this is the style you're looking for ... show more

I am leaving 3 stars because for only 12 bucks, I was not expecting a high quality item, just something to do what I needed it to do. The net is okay and catches fine debris and small bugs, but the plastic “pole” (its all connected as one piece, but I’ll call it a “pole” anyways) is SUPER cheap plastic and very thin. Again, my expectations were not high for this item, but it should be no more than $6 to $8. You definitely get what you pay for, so keep your expectations realistic. If you want a quality skimmer net, purchase a universal pole and a high quality net. It may cost more but it will last for years. ... show more

This net is a piece of crap. The poles do not even join together. The top of the net has a hole on both sides for a pipe to connect but none of the pipes have the same to match its. They all have 1 button that you push to connect thru the hole in the next pipe.
