this is a lightweight pole with a decent net. i wouldn't get it for a huge pool; i'd use a much sturdier net with a bigger head. this pole has a curved lip in front which makes it great for scooping. good price for the product. it serves my needs.

So this skimmdr is just about okay, it does a decent job but also has a limitation. For the price for which it has been bought, perhaps you can live with the limitation and the rating may still not suffer Firstly will start with some of the good things about this skimmer. The materials in the quality of build is actually quite good. The pressure of the water does not bend or Warp the rod and that makes it very usable. The color and appearance is also nice. And the net is quite decent and you can catch quite some stuff while using this Now on to the key limitation of the skimmer. The shape of the ring around the net is the primary problem which is an issue. The front part of this ring is quite wide and when you try to skim it through the water it offers quite a bit of resistance and therefore it's a problem. You would have a hard time moving the skimmer in water do this resistance. Despite it being lightweight and strong, the resistance is high enough to make the usable experience not great. For the price, it can still be a recommended by but I'll be cautious.
