After months of reluctance to order a new pool vacuum due to fear of purchasing a bad product and looking at video reviews and reading reviews, I finally hit the bullet and decided on this vacuum. The reviews seemed the to be one of the most legitimate. It’s been over a year since I order the product and have been using it daily. The setup: The setup did take a little longer to go through due to how hard it was to connect the hose but that also shows how tightly sealed the hoses are so that there are no air leakage(power loss) during the cleaning stage. The vacuum was pretty easy to setup itself. Performance: The vacuum does an amazing job. The hose that the vacuum came with is still in excellent condition ( when compared to the hose that came with my previous vacuum).

I am happy with the vacuum in the end but there are a couple things I’m not happy with. 1 the instructions have to be one of the worst I’ve seen in a while. Even the pictures/drawings are lacking but after just using common sense and the fact I’ve had a vacuum and pump before although both slightly different I figured it out. Now the biggest complaint and why the 4 stars instead of 5. The vacuum will crawl up the wall and up and over if not guided back down by spinning the wheel. The single weight it comes with isn’t heavy enough to keep it from being a overachiever and alliooping over the pool edge. I have a 24 ft round 52 high above ground pool with a flow clear 2000 gph sand pump I believe that’s .5hp motor so I don’t believe my pump is super crazy powerful by far although side note it does a great job cleaning our pool, very happy. Anyways! It cleans good for the small stuff which was my goal but big leaves it’s a hit or miss but far from a deal breaker. The other small inconvenience is my hose that I connect to the pump hose has to be one from the pump to the smaller hoses going into the pool because the ones provided are a bit to big even with the converter provided. I recommend it for those of us that have the smaller pumps that can’t use those other ones that require stronger muscle.

If you are looking for a very good automatic cleaner that won’t break the bank, this is for you! I was skeptical that this cleaner would actually work - and I was wrong to worry. I did have to get additional tubing so it would reach all areas in my 30’ round pool, but it really does a fantastic job, especially for less than $200! I let my cleaner run pretty much all the time and just pull my ladders out do it doesn’t have anything to get stuck on. You may still have to “unstick” it from time to time, but this is a really great, inexpensive option for you if you are tired of using a regular hand vac like I was! Cleans the walls too!!

Setting this up as the instructions show, it doesn't work. The flow valve doesn't sit in my skimmer right. I get over 20psi on my pump after cleaning, but still not enough to make this move. For me, a waste of money. But may work great for others.

I have used a Baracuda G3 for 14 years in my pool so I can compare this cleaner with my previous model. The pipes in the Baracuda are starting to suck in water after 14 years of service, so I thought replace the whole unit rather than buy new pipes. But the pipes on this model will be lucky if they last me a year. I made a mistake and should have got pipes.

Awesome! My first pool cleaner due to the high prices. This looks like a perfect copy of expensive ones. Worked perfect right out of the box. Didnt have to make any adjustments. Directions are bad, but no big deal. Seems to be climbing walls fine, hasn't got stuck ever. I'm stoked! Update: I moved the connection for the vac from my skimmer to a previously unused 1" suction port. It doesn't get enough gpm through the 1" line to climb walls, but cleans bottom ok. Need the 2" line skimmer intake provides. FYI if you wanted to try similar plan.

This vacuum does work great, but it does seem to get the hose tangled up and miss certain areas of the pool consistently. I will often just get into the pool and help guide around so it gets those areas. Our pump system has two intake hoses and I need to plug one of them when I use the vacuum or it will not work. Also I did not realize that when I vacuum up algae and the fine dirt that we have at our place in TX, that my filter wouldn't keep it from going back into the pool. Now I have hooked up a separate out hose from the pump to just run the dirty water out onto the ground if there's a lot of stuff. I use this in our 26ft round above ground soft side Coleman pool and when I have to run the water out onto the ground it only lowers the water level a couple inches in the time it takes to clean the whole bottom.
