Okay, so before I begin let me say this. The Kit is complete with a small pole and bag. All fittings were there as well as extra niceties. I read reviews before my purchase and was a bit concerned. People saying, they had issues with the fittings etc... and needed to modify the head. That is not the case at all. The Hose Kit comes with a quick disconnect. It is meant to go on your faucet and hose NOT THE HEAD. The small handle has a specific bracket, and if you want to use a NORMAL pool pole, it has a different bracket for that. I wouldn't do it because it is so small. No need for a huge pole unless your pool is DEEP. I have a 27 Foot round pool, 54 Inch deep. I waited until my pool water level was down, Where I live, we must add water throughout the swimming season, and knowing this is driven by water I knew I could do both things at the same time. Understand the head is small. It is not like a normal vacuum head. Take your time, get a cold drink, and sunglasses and be ready to clean your pool (your tan will improve). I took about 2.5 hours because I had changed my sand in the sand filter and a cup or two got into my pool, I bought extra bags to put two on at a time for double filtering. This small, amazing head sucked up the sand and other debris without any issue whatsoever. It is small enough to get behind my ladder too. That is one place I have had trouble getting in to, to clean properly before. The filter bags are easy to clean as well. Turn them inside out and rinse them, stuff just falls off. ... show more

I am not usually impressed and most things don't work like they're supposed to but I am definitely impressed with this little lightweight machine!!! It does work like it is supposed to! The net picked up sand and kept it in the net and I can see it!! This is sand/dirt my DE filter blew back into the pool which usually my regular pool net just stirs it around but this little gadget took it out immediately! Powerful suction and very lightweight and easy to assemble and use!!! I'd like to give the engineer who designed this Kokido a freaking medal!! I have owned my pool for 35 years and never came across anything this great! It will save my back big time from cleaning the bottom of my pool. LOVE IT!!! Get one, you will not be disappointed!! Actually does work really well. I was pleasantly surprised. Even gets the dirt and sand and use it as a quick skimmer when I need to add some water to the pool . I attached finer mesh bags to the “filter” part to catch smaller debris and it works great! Definitely not super sturdy but I have 2 boys and it’s still in one piece and is working ... show more

I thought this might do the trick but two things prevent that from happening. Assembled it’s almost 1 1/2 feet tall and that’s too tall for a shallow pool. It will capture the leaves with ease but the silt just passes through the fine mesh bag. The force of water does pull items in but varies with your water pressure. The included 5 section pole (only a yard) makes it not really suited for a larger pool without a much longer pole. Just not optimal for my medium kids pool maybe a 4ft above ground pool would be a better use. I ended up using a wet/dry shop vac to get all the silt/dirt and dumping the water ever 30 seconds of use as it filled very quickly. No issues with the build quality, just not suited to my needs. ... show more

I have a 18ft by 52in above ground pool. My pump is small and wouldn’t be much help for a vacuum that attaches to the pump so I came across this pump and wanted to give it a try. It definitely works and is well worth the money. The only downside I have found is that it doesn’t pick up the small “dirt” we have had storms in our area and we have a tree close by where everything seems to find its way to our pool. The vacuum attaches to my garden hose so it’s nice on days after a storm when the water is a bit cold and I vacuum I can hook it up to the hot water and warm the pool up while cleaning it. We do have some algae in the pool and the vacuum does pick it up, however the algae just goes right through the bag. I did try a pantyhose instead of the bag but it did the same. I’m sure if you had a hose big enough to fit where the bag goes you could hook it up instead of the bag and suction all the small particles out! I just had a new sand filter installed and I kept finding sand at the bottom. But I think it was my fault as I was messing with the back wash and recirculate options. Long story short, I need a way to get the sand out that was easier, and wothout using the pump to see if it was "filter" setting, or the messing around I did. Pretty easy to assemble using the picture provided. Has 2 different handle options. One for the included stick which makes it about the size of a broom. But also has an attachment piece for the big pole. It clearly works welll, as you can see in the pic. The hose is the pain in the ass part. Just put a lot of slack in the pool as you go. It'll make your life easier. I would def buy again ... show more
