I replaced my original pool vacuum hose with this one. It is better than the original was. The swivel on the vacuum end keeps the kinks at bay. One-piece hose seals well, therefore there is no loss of suction power.

Bought new one last year mid season lasted to mid season this year. It was more money. Neither have thickness of hose material. That might have helped. You can’t tell the quality by the posted pictures. But this new hose looks like it will last as long as my original hose bought in 2007 when the pool was installed. ... show more

Upon opening the package it seemed like a well built product. Once set up it proved otherwise. The hose does nothing but coilup in one spot around itself not allowing it to creep around the pool like cleaners are supposed to. I even laid it out flat hoping it would someone hold a straight line but no luck. It's stuck in a coil position for life and useless formits intent. The return window is so short you don't even get a chance to see if it will eventually straighten out before you're stuck with it. Very disappointed in this product. ... show more
