It was smaller than I expected but super easy to clean. My biggest issue is the metal thing in the middle that digs into your back when you are laying down. It has almost no padding on it but the fabric itself and it just right where the spine lands on the couch. It hurts like crazy until you adjust and don't lay on just the back or the entire couch will flip on you. ... show more

I was very disappointed with this futon. While it looks decent in the photos, the actual quality is much lower than expected. The frame and overall construction feel very fragile, and I don’t have much confidence that it will hold up well with regular use. The biggest issue is comfort—or rather, the lack of it. Whether sitting or lying down, it’s extremely uncomfortable. The cushioning is thin and doesn’t provide enough support, making it difficult to relax for any length of time. As a bed, it’s even worse and not something I would want to sleep on regularly. Assembly was straightforward, but that’s about the only positive thing I can say. If you’re looking for a comfortable couch or a reliable futon, I’d recommend spending a little more money on something sturdier and better made. I can’t believe how clever this little loveseat is. Firstly, I timed myself and putting it together took 30 minutes, even with the tiny mistake I made attaching one of the legs, and the fact that I am not particularly handy. It’s really simple and easy! Setting up for sleep (a smaller person or a kid will fit) takes about 10 seconds. It’s definitely not cushy, but perfectly comfy to sit or lie down on. Actually, I found the firmness really helpful for my back, which was a little achey. ( I’m pushing 60) The charging port is a great plus. Here’s the funny part: I read many reviews talking about how the parts are hidden inside the frame, plus the box shouts it at you in all caps. Well, the hardware, brackets and legs were in the fold of the piece right out if the box. I thought what is *wrong* with people?” No problem. Well, I got to the part where you attach the sides and thought “Damn… no arms in this box!” Finally turned the seat over and Voilà!!! The arms are zipped into the underside. I was impressed and spent the rest of the day laughing at my very own self. Great buy! Great value for price. ... show more

I needed a couch that would be more spacious than my original living room couch and one that isn’t cloth (messy 2yr old). If you read the manual more thoroughly than I did, you can have this couch done in 20 minutes or less. It is the perfect size for a small space, it is sleek, and very comfortable. The middle part when laying on it completely is a little tough but that is the case with most futons, a pillow can easily fix that. I would definitely recommend this to anyone. I noticed a small tear at the top of one of the cushions but I suspect I did it myself when trying to pull it out. This material wouldn’t be great for cat owners but one of their velvet options would be a good pick to avoid the scratching. Personally very pleased. ... show more
