The media could not be loaded. I was a little skeptical about how much these would block light, but they actually do a pretty good job. The light does come through them around the edges, but it’s fairly minimal and makes a massive difference. It’s August, 12pm and I’m in Colorado so the sun is out, close and hot. You can kind of see the outline of the window in the curtains which my last pair of blackout curtains didn’t do, but the light doesn’t actually get through very much so it’s still pretty dark. There are 2 cons with these curtains. One con I have with this is the sizes available. My windows have a sill that sticks out past the wall, so I needed the curtains to go far enough beyond the edges of the window that they’d fall back flat against the wall. They have a 8.4ft option which would be great for my larger window, but the 4.4ft width option only came in black and has since been removed from the seller page. I had to buy a 15ft curtain and cut it and sew the edges which was an annoying project and something not all people will be able to do. My 2nd con is that the colors are metallic/shiny and therefore not actually the colors you’re hoping to get that they have listed. I originally got the dark grey, but they’re shiny and look navy blue, so I returned them for the white which are actually silver because they’re metallic. Other reviews said the tan are actually gold, and the light grey looks silver, etc. This was very unfortunate as I dislike metallic colors/tones in my home. I’m a very matte, neutral person when it comes to home decor, but these were the best blackout track curtain option on Amazon, so I had to make it work. They glide really well on the track and block out light well which is why I got them, so overall I’m keeping them and it will work for my needs!

Great curtains. If you want both sides to look the same though this is not what you want. One side has a liner. I don't know if I would say they are sound proof either, but they are thick and good quality. No complaints. They do block light well and the fabric is soft.

I just finished hanging this room divider curtain in "beige." It seems to be a very well-made curtain of pretty heavyweight materials and does appear to black out light quite well. It comes with easy to understand instructions and plenty of hardware (several extras, which is nice). It paired exceptionally well with the flexible ceiling mount track matched with it in the "buy these together" section. For the price, I don't think you'll beat the value. That said, the "beige" is, without a doubt, gold. The fabric is also pretty shiny. It reminds me of a princess dress, which is not the look I was going for, but since the curtain will be closed infrequently and only for short periods of time, I'm keeping it. I need function over form for this curtain and it gave me what I was looking for at a very good price. I hate the color, but the product will do exactly what I needed. Overall, I'm pleased enough to leave 4 stars. Beware of the colors though. Read reviews and see what people say about the color you're considering because it may not quite be what you think.

I've been looking for blackout curtains for the longest time because we have floor to ceiling windows on both the southern and western exposures of our house... can you say HOT! in the summer? I haven't put them up yet only because I'm trying to decide on the best way to do that... but they are so GORGEOUS! There is a slight pattern in the weave of the fabric and they look pretty much like silk. All in all, worth every penny. I'll update when summer hits and let you know if they keep it cooler in our house.

We’ve had these up on our windows about 3 months. The top seam all across both curtains are starting to separate. It won’t be long until we need them repaired. We use them lightly and don’t get a lot of wear and tear. But they are in fact tearing. Very disappointing

This is really well made the pins are clever and work well. They are adjustable just be sure you know where they need to be set to because once they are moved they are locked into place. You cannot move them back. The drape looks lovely and my only complaint would be that the color is white with a grey undertone. Still very happy. Does great blocking the light.
