The media could not be loaded. The clocks in the school where I work are not correct. For all the years I have worked in my building, the clocks have been 4 minutes fast. We called it "Renaissance Time" (Renaissance is the name of my school.). We were always told the problem was not fixable. They had tried. This year, someone KIND of fixed the problem, but in doing so, kind of made it worse. The clocks were still 4 minutes fast, but the bells would ring at the correct time instead of Renaissance Time. Well, that was more confusing than ever. Not to mention, students today are so reliant on their phones and computers for the time, that they really struggle with reading analog clocks. As much as I want them to learn how to read analog clocks, I don't think it's a good idea to force them to read clocks that are consistently wrong and have to try to do the math in their heads. I mean, if it's confusing for the adults, it's that much more confusing for them. So, I decided to buy a giant atomic clock for my classroom. This is EXACTLY what we needed! When you have bells ringing every 38 minutes, and you're constantly checking the time to assess how much time is left in the lesson, it's really important to have an accurate, easy-to-read clock in the room! And this has the added benefit of showing the date, day of the week, and the temperature! Wish I'd gotten something like this years ago! The kids love it! I only have one small complaint, but I can't be sure the clock is the problem. I was going to take a star off, but didn't. The light on the clock randomly dims for no reason. I thought it was the clock, but it's very possible that it's the power source. Our building is very old and the outlet that it's plugged into is very high up on the wall (way above the door.....I had to get on a ladder to plug it in), so it has not been used for a very long time. So, it's entirely possible that it's the outlet. In the video I've provided, you see the dimming as the numbers flickering. To the naked eye, it appears like the numbers are randomly dimming. But it still works just fine, otherwise. It's nice and big so that everyone in the room (which is large) can see it clearly. ... show more

Excellent quality. Used for 1 year now and I use every feature daily. I love how adjustable it is. The volume and brightness can be changed easily. I wish the remote buttons were nicer, you have to press them really hard.

Because of the size of the numbers, this clock is bright. Even on the lowest setting it made my bedroom too bright for me to sleep. I mounted it about 6 feet from the floor so I could see it from all angles. Even when at its dimmest setting it lit up the ceiling. I have to have the room totally blacked out. Other than that it is a nice looking clock. The only other issue I had was the thermometer is very slow to change. It took it 8 hours to go from 66 to 70. ... show more
