Description

Can the TX-850 PRO detect small gold nuggets? The metal detector emits different tones for different types of metals. Low tones indicate ferrous objects like nail and steel, medium tones are for newer pennies and small gold objects, while high tones indicate silver, copper, and large brass items. Is the TX-850 PRO suitable for use on saltwater beaches? The TX-850 PRO has a ground balance range that includes settings suitable for saltwater environments, making it effective for beach detection. THRESHOLD tech also helps reduce interference at saltwater beaches, making metal targets easier to hear. What does the Fe3O4 graphic on the TX-850 PRO display indicate? The Fe3O4 graphic provides a visual representation of the mineralization levels in the ground, helping users adjust their settings for optimal performance in mineralized soils. What is the role of the GND PHASE and GND BAL readings on the TX-850 PRO display? GND PHASE indicates the type of mineralization in the soil, while GND BAL is the detector's internal setting for balancing out those minerals, ensuring stable operation and accurate detection. What is the overload condition, and how does the TX-850 PRO handle it? Overload occurs when a large or very close metal object saturates the detector's signal processing. The TX-850 PRO alerts users to overload conditions, prompting them to reduce sensitivity or raise the search coil. If your looking to purchase a metal detector and get the most bang for your buck, this HAZLEWOLKE TX-850 PRO is at the top of the list, I’m not a professional detector but I have friends I go with that are crazy about it they have different detectors for different areas different size coils for different situations…etc detectors that cost more then $1000. I didn’t have that kinda budget for a hobby and one of my friends said he’d be surprised if I found a detector that worked well in the highly mineralized soil we have in are area for less the $600. I looked for weeks before this detector happened to pop up and it sounded like it had the best possible solution I could ask for an with a price I could not believe Amazon had it included in a flash sale and I snagged it for $189.00! When I got it I brought out with a couple of my friends who had their expensive fancy detectors and we set out some targets to see how this detector performed and at the end of the day we were all very impressed the HAZLEWOLKE TX 850 PRO is easy to use the best value for the money and the quality is very good and I actually started going and detecting places more cause I was actually finding things second time out found an old civil war era buckle and a few other random items and the best part what we all hope to find this thing detects gold almost as well as those 600+ dollar detectors If your in the market for a detector but don’t want to commit to spending a fortune for one this HAZLEWOLKE TX850 PRO is the right choice! • Effective
This metal detector is every thing it’s described as. Having never used one before, it is easy to understand and set up. I used it to locate buried electrical lines. It was right on and saved me a lot of headache. They won’t locate personal buried lines, so I had to find them or risk cutting them. This detector worked. I’m very pleased. ... show more

    • Poor product quality
Product seem to work good at first, but starts glitching out even with the sensitivity on low, and around no possible electrical interference, seems to be an issue with the sensitivity knob. It was also missing the bag.

    • This was a great buy!!
Review Image by Matt H.
I've had a couple of days to test it out in field. I went over the manual a few times and became familiar with the operation. The main areas I've been searching have been in parks, and the soil is really consistent. I search with disc mode set at 40, gain at at 50%. It's really easy to use, gives pretty accurate identification of targets. So far i've found lots of pop tops, a handful of coins, a 925 silver necklace, and a 14k gold ring. The ring paid the cost of the detector. It's been a great introduction into metal detecting. Awesome machine at a really affordable price! ... show more

    • Easy to assemble
The product was very easy to put together. I bought this item for my 75 year old husband for Christmas. And he loves it. He has only gotten to use it a couple of times because of the weather but it worked great. Lightweight! And ready to handle. My friend bought one for her husband too and he feels the same way.
