I'm 52 yrs old, 5'11, 190lbs and slightly above average physical fitness for my age. I was looking for something to carry in my luggage for a quick workout while I'm away from home. I'm disappointed to report this contraption is not going to get the job done for me. I tried every setup and could not obtain enough resistance to challenge me in any way. I did 50 curls in a row on each arm which barely even got my blood flowing and resulted in zero fatigue. To make matters worse, the angle of the grips feels very awkward. In comparison, curling 10 reps of 25 lb free weights results in a visibly noticeable "pump". With hours of use per day, it might help maintain some muscle tone, but you'll never gain muscle with such a weak product. On a positive note, if you just came out of a 10 year coma, a few weeks of training with this might help you regain enough strength to feed yourself with a fork.

Does this give you a workout or not. I'll tell you more in the morning when I get up and "try" to get out of bed. You could round my age to 70 pretty easily and I normally try and lift dumbbells every day. This says it's adjustable from 66 to 110lbs and that's pretty much it. One or the other. You could possibly get a couple more weight equivalents in there by adjusting one side and not the other. I didn't try that that. It does work the all the muscles they say it does, and it is very comfortable to use. Much more comfortable and more flexible uses than dumbbells. It's a very well-built product and does look good. You can hear still hear a rattle when it is put together. although I don't think that is anything to be concerned with. The grips are padded just right, and I felt confident in using it. It does come with instructions although I thought they were a bit limited. Since it does say it's for beginners as well which I definitely am in this context I would have appreciated it a bit more if they laid it out a basic workout routine other than saying if it hurts, stop.

The media could not be loaded. I’m really impressed with this arm workout machine! It’s very well made, solid, and feels sturdy during use. One thing I really like is that it comes with a nice storage bag, which makes it easy to keep everything together and out of the way when not in use. The only drawback is that the lowest weight setting starts at 66 pounds. That’s great if you’re already strong or looking for a challenge, but it can be tough for beginners. For example, my wife wasn’t able to use it at that starting weight. From there you can increase the resistance, which makes it versatile if you can handle the base level. Overall, it’s a high-quality machine,just make sure you’re comfortable starting at 66 pounds before purchasing.
