Description
The DCH7 has extremely strong cutting capabilities and can easily cut branches up to 7” in diameter. This wood chipper is equipped with an electric-start engine, which has excellent performance, reliable quality and can be used for a long time. The DCH7 has three adjustable gears. The motor reverses when the lever is lifted, and the feed roller can be disengaged when the lever is pressed in an emergency. DCH7 has 5.3-12 tubeless tires and a wheelbase of 54.7’’, which ensures strong stability. The DCH7 is equipped with tail light, and on one side of the trailer, there is an American nine-pin plug. The plug can be connected to the towing vehicle when being towed, allowing the tail light of DCH7 to synchronize with the vehicle's braking and turning signals. The feeding box is collapsible and can simply be folded upwards for storage or transport. The discharge chute can be fully opened, allowing for a clearer view of the blade box interior for maintenance and blade replacement. The top of the discharge chute can rotate 360 degrees. This thing is an absolute beast! We ran it pretty much nonstop for about 6 hours today clearing out pine trees, and it handled everything we threw at it. It chewed through branches and pine trees way faster than I expected and saved us a ton of time and work. The engine has plenty of power, it feeds material really well, and even after running it hard for hours it kept going strong. For the price, I’m extremely impressed with the build quality and performance. If you have a lot of property to clear or regularly deal with trees and brush, this machine is worth it. So far, I’d absolutely buy it again. 5 stars!

This machine will chew through your brush pile easily. Threw some larger diameter branches of like 4+ inches at it still chewed them up. The bigger stuff you do have to use common sense and not feed it to fast. Give it time to do it's job. The only issues were alot of the nuts/ bolts weren't tight on the motor maybe from shipping so just go over it and tighten them. The blades do have some chips in them after about 10 hours of use. The machine is a good all around solid performer though. Good investment!

My B150 6 inch wood chipper with the zonsen 459cc engine arrived within a week on a pallet in a box truck with a liftgate. It was nicely packaged in a plywood box with no external damage. However, upon opening, I unfortunately discovered a damaged fuel tank and pull start cover. Both parts dented. I contacted MechMaxx and they were great! The agreed to replace both parts and I already received tracking for the pull start cover within days. This machine is heavy duty for the backyard user so assembly is a bit of a chore, but it's worth it. A helper would be great, but I managed assembly alone. I'm sure this is a rare issue, but I want to be thorough. When I originally went to start my Zonsen engine, it wouldn't fire. I immediately pulled the spark plug to test for spark and found none. After a little time ensuring all safety switches weren't the cause, I removed the cover over the electric start wiring and quickly found the yellow wire for the oil sensor had been pinched and exposed during assembly by the bolt holding the cover I had just removed. I wrapped that exposed wire with heat shrink and the engine fired right up. Notice I've still given this machine a 5-star rating because after fixing the damaged parts and the rare wire mishap, this is a great machine. Way more capable than the $500 212cc wood chippers that are so common. This is a beast. I would say expecting it to chew through any 6 inch diameter logs is unrealistic, but it does handle 3.5 or 4 inch fresh cut stuff just fine. I've already cleaned up several large brush piles and the large blades show zero signs of wear. I also want to mention the accessibility to clean and service the blades is soooo nice. With just two latches on each side of the cutting drum, the blades are right there. Very nice machine.

I bought this chipper to clear several brush piles on our property, and it has exceeded expectations! The 15HP 420cc engine has serious power, and the electric start is a life saver—it turns right over without any pull-cord hassle. Having the emergency stop bar right below the chute gives me peace of mind of safety that anybody can help me. Don't sweat it when you have to install everything together because the instructions are easy to follow. I will definitely be telling my friends and family that live in the country with lots of trees, that this chipper would be a great investment.

Review stands. Contacted support. 1st - the included video for installation instruction contains VERY unsafe instructions (the main engine block and chipper drum being held up by tow straps by what appears to be a forklift and the worker in a dangerous position if straps or hydraulic failure. My unit arrived with several of the factory installed pieces having a couple issues. A few washers were paired with the wrong bolts (they had them in the installation spots and owner has to remove to install other pieces), fairly minor. The bigger issue was the throttle was loose - fixable but a very large annoyance. It started great and ran great on first use - we had about 20 minutes of smaller branches ready for the initial run to make sure things were OK. We spent a few days clearing some areas of our property and today - it ran for 10 minutes. It did not jam. Drum spins by hand easily. And now the oil (which, before asked - well aware it shipped without oil and we added oil before first use) is mixed with gasoline. Needless to say - it does not start. Copy and pasting this into my 'Need Assistance' contact with seller. Edit #1: Response from seller was a form response. Acknowledged nothing from what I stated above. The wanted pictures and/or a video. What can I photo? Video trying to start it (causing more damage because the engine oil is completely compromised with gasoline)? Will update, probably with the video as well as I am now requesting a return. Probably more to follow. Edit #2 Added photos. Interestingly, I cannot find my own review and the listing states "Purchased another variation 1 time". Same price. Same model.

If this chipper shredder had a spirit animal, it would be a grizzly bear. This thing is an absolute beast of the forest. When it comes to chewing through branches, it does an incredible job. That said, let’s talk reality for a minute. It’s marketed as handling up to 6‑inch logs, and while that might be possible if the log is old, dry, and you feed it slowly like you’re hand‑feeding a dangerous zoo animal… the sweet spot is really more in the 2½ to 3‑inch range. That’s where it shines. For branches smaller than your wrist, it happily gobbles them up without breaking a sweat, and for that kind of work, it’s outstanding. Assembly wasn’t terrible, but it wasn’t exactly a walk in the park either. When my unit arrived, it was missing a few nuts and bolts, which meant a bonus trip to the hardware store. It also had some significant scratches/gouges that I’m pretty sure/assume happened during shipping. Not a deal‑breaker, but not ideal either. And the instructions? Let’s just say they were absolute garbage. Basically useless beyond a couple of pictures showing what the machine is supposed to look like when you’re done. If it weren’t for YouTube and a few solid videos online, I’d have been scratching my head for a long time. I had a couple of people help me put it together, though I think one person could manage it solo if they had a lift and a good dose of patience. Despite all that, I’d buy this chipper again in a heartbeat. For the price, it’s a great value, and it’s going to see plenty of use over the years helping me manage 16 acres of timber. I just wish it had arrived complete, unscratched, and with instructions written by someone who actually assembled the thing before. Bottom line: powerful, reliable, a little rough around the edges, but a solid machine that earns its keep.

No wiring diagram so I have a 500 lump of steel with no way to use it. Contacts with manufacturer have proven to be fruitless. Update 07/16/2025: It is difficult to write a fair review for this item. This is a quality machine. It is well engineered, well constructed, and does what it is advertised to do. Shipping came a bit early and was done professionally. Shipped in a plywood container on a sturdy pallet. Shipped in pieces and required assembly. NOTE: it takes two people to assemble this as it is quite heavy. Wife and I got it put together, but there were a half a dozen wires hanging about and no instructions for connecting the wiring. Contacted MechMaxx's customer service multiple times and was told I would be contacted by their Amazon group. Never happened so after about a week of no response I filed a dispute with my credit card company and notified Amazon of my dissatisfaction. Within 24 hours I heard from MechMaxx and they began sending me wiring diagrams and photos. They also told me that there was a jumper wire missing that they would ship from overseas. Machine wouldn't start without that wire. About a week later, I received the jumper wire, installed it, the electric start wouldn't work, but the pull start worked and the machine started and ran fine. I discovered the battery was defective and would not charge. Contacted MechMaxx customer service and they told me to buy a new battery and they would reimburse me. Got a new battery, charged it and the electric start worked great. When I received the jumper cable, I contacted my credit card company and removed my dispute. Nothing was ever charged back to Amazon and I paid in full for this machine. However, Amazon did charge back the purchase to MechMaxx for some unknown reason. MechMaxx reached out to me to help them resolve the charge back. I contacted Amazon customer service multiple times trying to resolve this. Each time I was told the Charge Back Unit would contact me within 24 hours. Never happened. BOTTOM LINE: I ordered this machine, I received this machine, I assembled this machine, I paid for this machine, I resolved operational issues with MechMaxx, I have tried to resolve payment issues between Amazon and their vendor. I am happily chipping slash timber with this quality machine. I'm out $80 for a replacement battery and charger. MechMaxx is out $2k+ for the mysterious Amazon charge back.

I finally pulled the trigger on the ZONSEN 6" 459cc 15HP Gas Powered Wood Chipper/Shredder/Mulcher (P4206) and my only regret is not buying it sooner. This thing works extremely well. I've been feeding it branches, brush, and leaves and it chews through everything I throw at it like it's nothing. The 15HP engine has serious power and doesn't bog down, even on thicker limbs. The mulch it produces is clean and consistent, perfect for spreading around the garden beds. The towbar is a great addition too — makes it easy to haul around the property behind my mower or ATV. One thing I will mention: plan on having a couple of strong helpers around for assembly. This machine has some real weight to it, and getting certain parts lined up and bolted together is definitely a two- or three-person job. Don't try to wrestle it together solo unless you're looking for a serious workout. Once it's assembled though, it's rock solid and feels built to last. Bottom line — if you've been on the fence about getting a chipper, stop thinking about it and just get this one. It's a workhorse. I honestly wish I had bought it a long time ago. Would have saved me countless hours of dragging brush piles and bagging leaves. Highly recommend!
