Is compressor came in 3 days early, everything looked good, then I saw the electric motor cover mashed in, requested a refund, Tuxing contacted me and said don’t send it back, they would send replacement parts, after 3 days explaining to them, what was wrong, 20 days later I received my parts electric motor cover and motor fan. I plug this compressor up and 3 minutes later it kicked 15 amp breaker then I plugged it in to a 20 amp breaker and 5 minutes later that breaker kicked. I had to install a 30 amp breaker. After that the compressor ran fine. I checked the oil, it was barely touching the oil stick I had to order oil, Tuxing said that they could not ship oil by airline that cost me more money. All I can say if you buy this air compressor be ready to install a 30 amp breaker and order some oil. The manual doesn’t tell you much, I had to watch a video on how to use it I hope this helps you on your decision on whether to buy this air compressor or not

Unit lasted all of 15 seconds before it seized up. All three brands of oils called out in the owners manual specifically say they are not to be used in breathable air compressors. This could lead to hazardous conditions for our people had the wrong product been used. The power cord that the unit shipped with was too small of a gauge and was generating excessive heat and in danger of catching fire, per our qualified electricians. We also had to use a higher amperage circuit than the unit calls for in the owners manual as it was tripping out circuit breakers. Very poor quality control and incorrectly labeled for its electrical needs.

It is a compressor with filters for filling Scuba Tanks and other tanks. I worked at a scuba shop and it fills tanks with clean air like the $20,000 ones do. It has a recommended 30 minute duty cycle. So I run for 30, rest it for 20 and then finish each tank. It pulls about 29 amps at start up and pulls around 15 when running. I reccommend a 30 amp 110 volt outlet installed for long term. Do not use an extension cord. I ran the system and watched my tank pressure to close the valve on the tank at completion. The operation is simple. The compressor will stop at 4500 psi. I reccommend this purchase. It should pay for itself the first year of operation! I charge the tanks while bathing them in water to cool the tank.

Unit came missing the gauge and pump was bindy, tried using it on a 30 amp circuit and it would overload the circuit, after consulting with the manufacturer I took the pump apart and found the rings too tight in the first stage , the finish on the cylinder bores was terrible, so I honed them to clean them up , had to file fit the rings to the proper ring gap and reinstalled, it still overloaded, so I replaced the 3400 rpm motor with a 1850 rpm motor with a bigger pulley and belt, test ran it unit works good, this unit is built very similar to the more expensive Italian made coltri units, and I can say that the customer service will help you if you have a problem

I bought this pump March 9th, 2024 to this day I have had no problems with it. It's a great machine and so long as you follow all directions correctly you should find the same results a good machine at a good price. Also don't forget to always check the oil and follow all maintenance suggestions covered with the accompanying booklet you also should not have any problems with your unit. I'm even thinking about another machine to speed up time needed to fill several bottles for my friends and family...

I bought this compressor because it was a lower price than the one that I really wanted. It ran for 45 minutes then the 4th stage rod broke and the inside of the compressor was destroyed. Tried to use the help email address but no response. Wrote a bad review then they said they would send the parts to fix. Would not send the replacement parts until I removed my bad review. I did delete it. Got one of the new parts today. The only problem is it arrived broken. I would never do business with this company ever again. I have attached pictures of the two parts the first broken one and the one that I received as the replacement. Do not do business with them. Go ahead and buy a name brand on. I have already replaced this unit with a better one that has already run for well over 100 hours with no problems. Be aware. Do not waste your money.

This compressor I bought to fill 9L carbon fiber bottles to 4500 PSI. It constantly shuts off sometimes drift breaker in the maximum it will reach after ready to cool down over and over again is 4000 psi.
