The package comes with plastic wrap around lid, tamper proof seal under lid with cotton to keep capsules secure as possible. After just a few days I've not had any side effects. I hear so much about the importance of adding anti-inflammatory supplements, and I have purchased and used a number of products from BioSchwartz (I love their prebiotics and probiotics), so I felt good about giving their turmeric supplement a try. The clear capsules make it easy to see that they are packed with that golden mustard colored turmeric. There are also cinnamon, black pepper, and some other ingredients. There are no GMOs, gluten, preservatives. or binders. The daily dosage is two capsules. Bioschwartz has been around for a while and all their products are made in the USA. To me, this makes them a better choice than the other fly by night supplement brands. The only concerning thing here is that this is mainly turmeric but doesn't have that turmeric smell. It may the the cinnamon that is over powering though.     • Easy to take, great ingredients
This is a power house supplement. It contains some nutrients that people are only recently becoming familiar with, even though they have been used around the world and for centuries. Turmeric and cinnamon are great flavor enhancers when cooking, but they offer incredible health benefits - joints, immunity, anti-oxidants, just to name a few. The other ingredients are important to overall health, too. I love that the ingredients are non-GMO, and the turmeric is organic. The most important thing for me when it comes to supplements is the quality of the ingredients, and these ingredients give no reason to believe that they are not of the highest quality. The second most important thing about supplements is how I feel after taking them. Sometimes it takes a long time to realize the benefits from vitamins, but if I do not have any adverse reactions to taking them, and I trust the quality and the benefits, then I will continue to take them and assume that they are improving my health.
