  • BEFORE YOU BUY Step 1 - Make sure your original hose diameter is 5.9 inches from outer edge to outer edge. Step 2 - Make sure your original hose has a clockwise threading direction. Please double check the diameter and screw direction on pictures 2 and 3 before purchase.
  • EXPANDABLE HOSE The shortened length of the hose is 16 inches. You can extend the hose up to 78 inches. TURBRO replacement exhaust hoses are longer than most original hoses, making them more flexible for use in large areas.
  • EASY INSTALLATION Fully expand the end of the hose, align with the coupler, and rotate the coupler clockwise to twist onto the hose. Repeat on the other end of the hose to attach to the second coupler. (Refer to pictures 3 and 4).

I made the mistake of buying the wrong one, but it's working great. Really, because of how the product is designed, you might still be able use the wrong one with the right modifications. In my case, I was still able to make it work by connecting it like usual, only I had to use two parts of the lining to make it fit. It's also going straight from the window to the portable ac unit without any sort of extending or turning of the tubing (which is how it should be used anyway, because turning or extending the tube can impact how well it pushes out air). My original pipe basically fell apart due to age, so it was hard to determine. I basically eyeballed it for a while, and thought I was right in my original assessment, but that was a huge nope. Maybe do a little more thorough research before buying, because it could be difficult to repackage and return this; otherwise, you might be okay with similar modifications, but I can't say with certainty, because it really depends on the end pieces where you're connecting the pipes. Also, probably best to not turn or extend the pipe at all, because that's probably what led my original one to fall apart; plus, it's better for the overall airflow to ensure your unit's operating more optimally. ... show more

The UV through the window had turned the original hose brittle such that it broke with the slighest movement. Once I figured out what direction of hose I needed for the threading, I found this one. To be honest I was quite surprised at the high cost of this stuff, but this was a best value I could find. It was easy to install and is holding up. Assume it will be like the last one where it gets impacted by the UV, but will do a better job of trying to protect it going forward. ... show more

I bought this for a portable air conditioner that I had but this was a few centimeters too big for it. This is flexible amd durable. I couldn't use it so I'm not sure about heat resistance. That portable air conditioner broke down and I needed something FAST before the heat wave. I bought a new portable air conditioner and I tried to use this for my new air conditioner but it was too long. I had to return it. It's better if you're using it as a replacement hose instead of an extension hose. ... show more

So happy with this product. I bought/return to hoses because they didn't fit the nozzle on my portable air conditioner. The hose is made of really nice durable material so hoping it last a long time. I am going to order a 2nd as a backup.
