The media could not be loaded. My wife and I are very happy with this electric fireplace log, especially given the price. Both the logs and the flame effect are fairly realistic and inviting—I was worried it would look fake or cheesy, but not at all. Even in the daytime the flames look good (as seen in the accompanying video). Our fireplace is in a living room with high vaulted ceilings, so the heating element feature isn't enough to warm a large space--but you can feel it when relaxing in front of it. When we purchased it, we didn't notice this product didn't have a remote, but it turned out not to be a big inconvenience--the knobs on the side are easy to access and not something you need to fiddle with much other than to turn it on and off (and to adjust the heat temperature; you can also run the flames without any heat at all). We're very pleased with it--it is very elegant looking and provides a nice accent to the room and fireplace. ... show more

I live in an older house that doesn’t have vents in some of the rooms, so it can get pretty chilly. Winter is coming, so I figured I better get my heater now before I really need it. The heater looked good out of the box and was packaged very well, I think it would take some serious falls for it to arrive damaged. The flame effect isn’t 100% authentic to a real flame but it definitely doesn’t look bad. Within a few seconds of turning it on I could start to feel the heat coming out if the event. I didn't want to run it too long because it’s still pretty warm out, but I can see this keeping me warm in the office throughout the winter. ... show more

Bought used (labeled as like new) with no documentation that it was dented or not in like new condition as Described. Open the package that had no damage. To a very badly dented front facia. We got this to put inside of our (unworkable) chimney, and we love it so far! I didn’t expect much from the heat for the price, but it heats up our living room with 12’ ceilings, and I’m so impressed. It’s quiet, easy to put together and function, and adds such a nice atmosphere.

I loved the heater - until I smelled it burned. It did not catch fire but it did burn and stop working. It worked so well prior to that and the fact that I had a houseful of guests - I ordered another insert. I’m not certain if anything can be done, is it possible to fix these? Is it worth it? Bought this for a friend(for Christmas) who has a wood burning fireplace in his apartment that he doesn’t use. He absolutely loved it. He fell asleep in front of it for three nights along with the white noise box I also got. That night and early morning the temps dropped very low, froze all the complexes heat pumps and this saved him over the holiday weekend. It heated his whole apartment. Highly recommend and suggest a grounded extension cord to go with it, I did get him this also and he needed it to reach the wall. 👍 ... show more
