Purchased this line set to cover a MrCool DIY install. The wall outlet cover does not come with a collar or flange to attach to the exit for your wall hole. The provided wall cover and MrCool exit flange are flimsy pvc so there is nothing to screw into and the provided screws are inadequate. I cut vinyl flooring to act like a collar on the backside for the cover to screw into and sandwich everything. Once the wall cover is secure you can push in each straight section into the connection points and secure with the couplers. The straight sections are excellent and robust. The couplers are a little flimsy, but adequate if you don't have to take it down. The flexible portion is a one piece so either know before you hook up the lines or cut them down one side. Really they could just not have added that and given another straight section, but these kits are all the same. Overall the design this kit is decent. They should add a top section (like a locking c channel) to sandwich together the wall cover and flange as a cap. This just screws into what ever flange you have and provides no support to the screws or cover. The provided screws are too short to adequately catch the wood underneath unless you have completely flat siding. Basically the hardware is bad. Use zinc or other outdoor screws and not the provided ones. ... show more

I would have rated these four stars had I paid full price. However, I caught a screaming deal and got them for less than the price of the 7’ kit. Installation is fairly straightforward, but take your time and be sure of your placement, especially if you’re setting anchors. The kit is fairly forgiving, installation could be a lot worse. The media could not be loaded. This is a nice quality kit for covering the line set of any minisplit or conventional AC condenser. It does come complete with decent hardware. I had no issues with cheap screw heads stripping out. I would have given this a 5 star except for one issue. The flexible section of this is not split. Meaning that if you're going to use it you have to install it BEFORE connecting your lines. I did work around this by using a razor blade to cut it down the length on one side, like a wire loom. Once installed I rotated the cut side to the bottom. Other than that, very nice kit. ... show more

My mini split had been installed already, so I was glad to see that this could be installed over the lines after the fact (all parts are 2 snap together pieces. The only disappointing factor is that the flexible part of this kit is not 2 parts and would have had to be installed on the lines before the mini split was connected. Thus I could not use that part of the kit. Overall still a great value and the PVC plastic should hold up for years. ... show more
