I really should’ve bought the 4 inch because everything would’ve fit into it better but I made the 3 inch work. Here’s a little tip, if you find it there’s very little room in the conduit put everything in there the best you can then use large zip ties to close it, it’s putting up really nice now and everything is protected from the weather ... show more

I bought this for my mini split. i was not happy to find that it is smaller that i hoped and barely fit the line set, power wire and condensate drain line. it does need to be at least 4 inch to make it sit better.

Purchased this line set to cover a MrCool DIY install. The wall outlet cover does not come with a collar or flange to attach to the exit for your wall hole. The provided wall cover and MrCool exit flange are flimsy pvc so there is nothing to screw into and the provided screws are inadequate. I cut vinyl flooring to act like a collar on the backside for the cover to screw into and sandwich everything. Once the wall cover is secure you can push in each straight section into the connection points and secure with the couplers. The straight sections are excellent and robust. The couplers are a little flimsy, but adequate if you don't have to take it down. The flexible portion is a one piece so either know before you hook up the lines or cut them down one side. Really they could just not have added that and given another straight section, but these kits are all the same. Overall the design this kit is decent. They should add a top section (like a locking c channel) to sandwich together the wall cover and flange as a cap. This just screws into what ever flange you have and provides no support to the screws or cover. The provided screws are too short to adequately catch the wood underneath unless you have completely flat siding. Basically the hardware is bad. Use zinc or other outdoor screws and not the provided ones. ... show more
