Works great. I bought this unit on sale and installed it in my garage. It does require a vacuum pump to install. I would also recommend a flaring tool if you want to cut your refrigerant lines to the appropriate size for your application. I also used a torque wrench and nilog blue. So far working great with no issues. Check your shrader valve stems for tightness, one of mine was loose. I quickly fixed that with minimal refrigerant loss. 19 seer2 is ok but there are more efficient models for sale, but I bought this Black Friday and took it home after tax for under $580 so for that price 19 seer2 is good enough for me. My garage is roughly 750 square foot, and is insulated. I couldn’t be happier with its function in there. If you need to bend your refrigerant lines tightly or in an odd way I would also recommend a tubing bender of some kind. The larger low pressure line may try to kick on you. Be careful not to kink it. If you do you will need the flaring tool for sure, and hopefully it’s on one end or the other and you can cut the tubing and reflair.

I got this turbo 12,000 Btu finnmark series for the value and efficiency it works great for central Alabama climate in just ordered another and is on they way, I would say about 500 sf is what it’ll cool and heat the 750 would have to be well insulated, anything around 750sf I’d go with an 18,000 Btu honestly, not sure your sf? Measure your length and width then multiply them by each other

This was much easier to install than I ever imagined. The instructions were straight forward, bought the vacuum to check the connections. Did contact customer service for a minor issue and they were great to respond and answer any questions.

I did get a good deal on this but after one day the pump failed. The other problem is the tech support can only be reached by email and they work at night. I got one email a day and their main focus was taking the output temperature and when they did not like the results they challenged me on how I took the reading. After that that just stopped responding at all. This was just my experience I hope yours is better.
