Buying a very inexpensive compression tester seemed like a questionable purchase, but I've matched results from this vs. my much better compression tester, and it's within 1-2 PSI of that instrument. Excellent for portable use; comes with several quick disconnect hoses with connectors for different sized spark plugs. I've used this on cars, motorcycles, and a scooter--all with good results. No idea how well this tool would stand up to heavy professional use, but it's great for a hobbyist like me.

This kit included an adapter with correct thread size and diameter to test my R56 N12 Base Mini Cooper and the results confirmed my suspicion without having to pay a mechanic! This was my first time testing compression and it was so easy and fun that I'm gonna test all my friends' and family's cars! I'm very satisfied with the quality and performance of all parts and the case. If you're not a brand loyal tool snob, this kit is WAY WORTH the very low price and more.

I order one and the guage valve was broken. At times it would work other times it wouldn’t allow air to pass. I returned if and got a similar but definitely different set. The second set had a check valve, red case instead of black and shorter spark plug hole adapters… I’ve yet to see if this one works but will update the review when i do.
