    • It did what it was designed to do
This product worked as described to remove and install the VANOS on my BMW M52TU. The case was a little tight when removing some of the tools, but that's just a minor issue that has no bearing on using the tools.

    • Worth every cent!
I used this set on the M56 engine. The cam locking tool is well built and the flywheel lock is the perfect length. Those tools alone make the set worth the money. The cam sprocket tool is not necessary and did not fit my exhaust sprocket. I did not use the vanos wrench, chain tensioner, air pressure fitting or the other chain tensioner; though these are well made and would work fine. Overall the set is complete for an engine rebuild or to adjust the variable valve timing. Great price too! ... show more

    • Keeps Cost of BMW Repairs a Little Lower!
This kit is a necessity for BMW DIY timing adjustments. Trying to manually adjust the timing on a 2006 BMW is a very time-consuming project with a high rate of failure for a "DIYer".
