This kit comes in a nice blow molded case that helps you keep track of all the pieces. The kit includes threaded adapters for 5 different sizes of spark plugs, and two rubber tapered press-fit for universal use. The gauge itself is made of metal, glass lens, has a rubber bumper, a pressure relief button, and a quick disconnect fitting. The quick disconnect fitting is not one that I have seen before. My old compression tester had a fitting that was commonly available at any hardware store. It is slimmer, and maybe that is the purpose. It does work well and is nicely machined and crimped onto the hose. This kit also comes with a tester for spark plug voltage. Much more convenient than trying to use a screwdriver and sparking to ground while pulling the starter rope! It inserts incline with the high voltage lead going to the plug, and has a neon bulb inside a water proof housing. The blow molded case does not have a specified location for the spark tester, but it fits in nicely.

No problems with compression tester. The spark tester could have been better designed on how the indicator bulb was installed. Usage instructions would have been nice for the spark tester.

So I was all excited to see on tracking this had been delivered today while I was at work. Opened up package to discover the spark tester wasn't included. Now I'll have to place another order and wait. I had ordered this kit because it showed it came with compression and spark testers.
