Bought this for my peterbilt. Works amazing, till it doesn’t. Arms quit closing on their own about 2 months ago and now it doesn’t even charge. I’d expect more for $50. Won’t be getting another. Update: finally was able to reach out and contact the seller, and they’ve handled the situation wonderfully. Was a misunderstanding between Assurion covering it with the “extra warranty” and them saying it was on the seller since it was under 12 months. Things they don’t clearly tell ya, but live and learn. This thing is not worth the money. I bought it, but it’s basically unusable — it overheats the phone badly. If you’re driving a truck, it gets even worse with direct sunlight through the windshield heating it up even more. Your phone can stop responding at any moment, and you might miss important calls because the screen just freezes from the heat. Also, this is not a suction mount — it’s just a sticky rubber pad. Once you stick it somewhere, that’s it. It’s basically permanent, and you won’t be able to move it to another truck. Phone stays charged the auto close makes it so simple to use which is very important being on the road the suction cup is amazing I put it on the dash of my 379 peterbilt and it’s extended almost all the way out has ridden just fine even during all the rough terrain and what not I’ve traveled over you can also tilt the phone from vertical to horizontal just by twisting your phone no need to release and fasteners etc would recommend to anyone! ... show more
