Just installed today, haven't driven in the rain yet so I can't comment on water tightness. Very easy to install, but it would be nice if the clamps that secure the cover were metal instead of plastic and the clamps closest to the tail gate were spring secured so it would be easy to open top. Very sturdy and looks well built. UPDATE: Just had a pretty good rain and it did leak on the sides up by the cab, nothing to drastic though. Probably could fix with a little more weather stripping.

I installed this hard folding tonneau cover on my 2024 Ford Lightning Lariat, and overall, I'm really happy with it. The fit is spot on and it looks great on the truck. Most importantly, it keeps the bed completely dry—even through some heavy rainstorms, nothing got in. The only reason I'm giving it four stars instead of five is that the installation was a bit confusing at first. The instructions that came with it weren’t the clearest, and I had to pause a few times to figure things out. Luckily, there are some helpful videos online that made the process much easier once I found them. Now that it’s installed, it’s solid, secure, and functions just like I hoped it would. Definitely recommend—just be ready to do a little homework during install!

The item arrived promptly and was incredibly easy to install, which I appreciated. However, while installation was a breeze, the product itself couldn’t withstand anything more than a gusty breeze. Driving to work on a windy morning (gusts of 20–30 mph), I was jamming out to my favorite tunes when I heard an alarming flapping sound behind me. Since it was still dark outside, I couldn’t immediately see what was wrong - but upon pulling over, I discovered that the wind had torn the cover apart. I managed to roll it up and continue on to my less than stellar day thanks to this incident to start the morning. Lesson learned: don’t skimp on quality when it comes to tonneau covers. You truly get what you pay for.
