I did a lot of research before settling on this cover. As with most things, you see people who had problems and people who have had none. Here are my overall observations. * I did get a little water infiltration after a hard rain, but haven't made any adjustments since I installed it, so the leak could be my fault. * Installation is pretty easy. I did it myself in a Ram 1500 crew cab with the 5'7" bed--no RamBox. It maybe took 30 minutes, some of which was spent watching a YouTube installation video. * It looks great. * I love that you can open and close the tailgate with the cover closed. * I've had it in the folded position, going 70mph on the interstate and it held up fine. Only a small bit pokes out from behind the cab of the truck to catch the wind. I will note, though, that had I not had the digital rear view mirror (there's a camera in my third brake light that projects to my mirror) I would not have been able to see through the back window with the cover folded upright. * The cover gets very hot in direct sunlight. I especially found this out during installation. Might want to park in the shade while installing. I can't speak to customer service, etc..., but will try to keep this review updated since this is a high-ticket item and people like me want to get all the information they can before committing. I wasn't sure how to rate the value for the money, but since few of these covers are cheap, it felt like I am getting a well-made product at a cost comparable to other brands. Follow up after several months of use. I've had it parked in and driven during some hard rains and had very minimal to no water infiltration. I will note that when it's parked outside at our house, it is on a slight incline, such that the tailgate is lower than the cab, so that could conceivably make it less likely for water to get into the bed area? The media could not be loaded. So far the tonneau cover is working out fine. It is a value for the money compared to other covers. It fit perfectly on the truck, instructions were not great but you can figure it out fairly easily. Seems to be weather proof. It has rained and stormed out here in Arizona several times since I installed. It folds up easily , love the peg stands that hold the cover up. Very nice looking cover , almost can’t tell it’s there. Also the inside stays pretty dry in the truck wash, I did notice some wetness in the corners by the cab. Not a lot of water but a little bit. Maybe can add more sealant to prevent the slight leakage. ... show more

Well made. Precise fit. Does the job well. Worth the extra cost? Not sure. Yes easy to install once you figure out the directions. The box tells you there are directions with hardware but there isn’t. There’s a card with a bar code that it’s supposed to direct you to the directions online but it doesn’t really. It takes you to their shopping cart. You have to dig around to find the download. They list most other truck brand instruction except RAM so I had to choose something generic. It goes on from there. For the money you spend it should be much more user friendly. Illustrations are tiny and lack import details. They use terminology that assumes you know product intimately already. ... show more

Extremely fast shipping, and it arrived a day earlier than it was previously reported. The cover came with a QR code, and an alternative website link for video instructions, which are easy to follow. It took less than an hour to assemble. Clearly a very durable cover, which I had on my previous 2017 Ram 1500 before trading it in, which is why chose the same cover again, as the old cover was still in great condition. I noted that some modifications were made to the newer cover, which I view as a huge win, such as a gutter system on the side rails which ensures the bed compartment won't be compromised with water. Also, better seals were observed on the new cover. Extremely easy to open, and I paid less for this cover than I did in 2017 for my old cover. Finally, the cover fit like a glove on my 2025 Ram 1500 Laramie Crew cab, worth every penny! ... show more

The media could not be loaded. This MX4 is one of the most overhyped products I have ever bought. Save your money and buy literally anything else. Use a tarp. Use cardboard. It might actually seal better. My cover showed up already damaged. A cracked drain piece. Whatever. I contacted RealTruck and they sent replacements. Great. Except that ended up being the highlight of the entire experience. The real problem is the leaking. This thing leaks like it is trying to put out a fire inside the bed. Water comes through every panel. Not a little drip. I mean it may as well not even be on the truck. I sent RealTruck a video and they agreed it was not normal and offered a new top. That replacement top arrived destroyed too. They shipped it in a box big enough to fit a refrigerator so it bounced around, bent a panel, and snapped clips. So the replacement was actually worse than the original. Impressive, honestly. Amazon gave me thirty percent back and even at seven hundred dollars this thing is still not worth keeping. It looks good, the latches are nice, and that is where the compliments end. Even the tailgate seal barely touches the tailgate. It is like it is not even trying. To add to the comedy, the replacement drain pieces they sent were the wrong size. Every time I emailed, the reply felt like a panic reaction rather than someone actually fixing anything. When I told them the replacement top was broken and the drain pieces were wrong, they basically said sorry, paint a spot on the top and send a picture and we will send another top.
